Does anyone know how to deactivate a key on steam. I couldn't stand the censored version of TF2 and went and bought the retail uncensored one. But it wont let me activate key. Keeps telling me the game has already been activated. Delete the old one but still no change.>

It says:
49.99
Where you from? Maybe you can earn some income by gifting the game to others for 40 bucks or something. lol

STEAM has regional pricing. It's 29.99 in the UK, maybe other parts of the world too.

Well, we were paying 39.99 originally. Which is fucking ridiculous.

Shit... re-reading my other post and it DOES look a bit like I was contesting what he said. I'll edit for proper clarification >_<
As far as Steam is concerned, especially the whole "£39.99!!!1" bullshit, I honestly don't see how it's legal. Hasn't anyone tried contacting Watchdog, or some other kind of regulation agency? £39.99 is more than ANY retail store charges .. and it CAN'T be legal to charge those Euro prices, not when the current exchange rate makes it upto 45% more expensive :-\

Uh, excuse me, it's called the "free market," maybe you've heard of the concept? I'm pretty sure that some of the countries over there in Europe have it, if I'm not vastly mistaken?
They're free to charge whatever price they want, wherever they want (just like you have the right to choose no to buy products from them, at their prices). They are not obligated to match foreign rates; the prices would be changing every day, if they did.
Then again, it wouldn't surprise me for most European governments to try to meddle like that with private enterprise, or for European citizens to expect their governments to do that...

That doens't work on this site. I've tried it and my account is still -60 because someone tried to pull a fast one on me and paypal let them. I told paypal to go fuck themselves and they tried sending a credit collection agency on me and I told them the same thing I told paypal, not fuckin paying shit.

If someone sends money as a GIFT via paypal are you still at risk of the money being taken back by them via a dispute?
