Yup.. downloading after You first time start your game
from readme:

Haven't played it yet but based on the demo everything will probably be adjustable in a pretty short while as it was fairly easy to modify.
(Even locked content such as pre-order only planes and similar can be made accessible fairly easy from what I understood.)
EDIT: Oh and nice to see a patch out.

200 JStrike missiles, 80 freefall bombs and 20 multitarget AA missiles on a F22 Raptop at the same time sounds about right.

Is it normal that when you start first mission plane setup window flashes for a second and then goes straight to mission?

The first mission has a fixed plane/config (you're in the US military after all, not in the private military yet). After that you'll be able to chose your craft.

Not seen that one, but when starting with teh DX10 exe i dont get to see the movie intro and can not see main menu unless I ctrl alt del to task manager menu in vista and then said cancel..
Might of changed with cat 9.3 but not checked yet.
The F4 phantom is awesome though love that plane..

Ah no i dont run skype, and im not running aero mode in vista right now, can always try the classic windows theme though anyhow i guess.. Still rediculous I should have to with a gfx card that should be able to cope with aero etc..

hmm, strange:
installed the game on vista 32bit with ati 3870 and 4gigs of ram.
Played first mission, but with second mission as privateer, I can't select any planes, they are all locked.
Also when I try to leave the game, it won't. When I press the conformation button (Enter), it just doesn't work.

can you guys turn autoassistance OFF....i\becouse i can't,when i pres LCTRL i hear a strange breaf sound and that is all

Yes i get that as well banish, but that may be related to the difficulty level you choose ,, ive left it on normal.. so maybe its that.
Although if you watch at the end of a mission the replay, and select say cockpit view there, when you start your next mission you start in the cockpit.. ive yet to be able to change views etc in a mission, on normal difficulty.

haha problem solved!
had the demo installed and after uninstalling it, it left 2 modifed files that gave the problem!

Wait for it. You have not reached the era that has it ("6 years later"). It is the 5th or 6th mission that will ask you to do the OFF training (like in the demo), and then you will be able to.  |

I can change view on normal difficulty by just pressing C
