Hey guys!
If you've been having some inexplicable problems with games, like the games starting minimized and any attempt to have them restore make them minimize again, it could be because of Skype. The new version has some silly issues, and can cause problems with games. In order to solve the issue do the following:

I still am using the previous version which I am familiar with, most of my friends who upgraded are lost using the newest version since it looks very different
dl'ed the beta of this new version months ago and I hated it, I didn't know where to click most of the time as some of the buttons I'm familiar with were put or hidden somewhere I couldn't notice easily, had to stare etc

Well, I was in the same boat, but got used to it by now. But really, Skype interfering with games, that's some silly shit right there!

Thanks! I will have to probably download the newest version soon!
Wonder if there is any incompatibility between someone using newer version and other person using older version!
My dad barely learned how to use old skype..I bet that new flashy theme will scare shit out of him

I experienced this about a month ago when I tried running "The Witcher." found on some forum to switch to classic mode and the problem went away. I will say the new skype video is better than the older version. It's what the wife and I use to talk to each other everyday while i'm at school.

another fine example of poor quality coding. It's just too silly that Skype causes problems with other apps, in this case games.
They just don't properly test new versions anymore these days...

Indeed. And the funny thing is devs have no idea what causes this.  At least they admit it's their problem now.
