Fallout 3 was just something to keep us busy until scene release of Dead Space.

I haven't played Dead Space in over a week! Today is my last exam. Must play this one for at least 4 or 5 hours straight after I come back home Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Guys, asked in the PC section, but I guess no one finished it yet. Is there a proper end to the story, or is it basically "TBC"? Because I'm reading about DS2 already in production, and a bit worried lol. Thanks in advance!

UNREAL!!! Wow, what a gorgeous game! Been playing for an hour now and I cannot believe the atmosphere! Graphics are WAY detailed! This is a scary and fun game at the same time. The control scheme is good too. Last FPS I played on a console was Goldeneye for the N64 so I am rusty. But they did a good job and I am getting better and better. This is what Bioshock should have been. It should have been in space instead of in Rapture, or Rapture could have been in space. I would give this a nod for GOTY so far. I haven't played GoW2 yet because of banning worries. But this game drips with detail and high production values. Excellent sound as well, which is so important in a Sci-Scare game.

Dead Space 2 is obviously great news! Leo you will love this game, give it a go! Smile

The story the game itself is based around is compleatly finished and perfectly resolved.
The universe of the setting however introduced lots of elements and great many possibilites for future series, seeing as the events in the game are a part of a greater set of circumstances and organisational plots. The player is left with the impression that what ever happened in the game is just the begining of the fragile equalibrium that preserved humanity beeing broken. There are just too many holes in the setting of the "what can go wrong from now on" type...The web comic and the Downfall movie just make this even more obviouse.
What EA did with Dead Space is create a platform for a great milking cow franchise that they can expand to unimaginable scale if they play their cards right...From survival horrors, to massive and intense "epic" cinematic shooters of the GoW type(which personaly I already fantasyse about, espetualy after seeing Downfall)....

Still there is about 90% chance that non of the events in Dead Space 2 will have any direct connection to the first part.Only the tension its echo would create...
On the other hand there is still one giant planet cracking type ship full of undead aliens flying out there without a course...

When in a zero-gravity room, aim and press Y. If you can't jump there, it'll flash red.

I hate zero gravity rooms. And I also hate vacuums. But theyre not nearly as annoying as zero gravity areas.

Yes but we barely get to stand around and admire the graphics since our oxygen runs out.

Finished this last night. Had the same thoughts at the start of the game: "Beautiful!; finally a REAL Next-Gen game; looks great, plays better!"

But after a few stages... well it's just more of the same unfortunately.

Kill same dudes; get the 'key': "oh nose! key doesn't work because ancient Egyptian artefact is missing! find it plz? kthxbye."

It turns out to be just another one for the pile in my eyes.

There are cheats for the oxygen and the stasis if you run out. Razz
