Sinners - 6/10 One point extra for reminding Tarantino´s "From Dusk Till Dawn" (for about 5 minutes)

The Accountant 2 - 4/10

The Amateur 5/10 - Could have been good story if the character was kept, instead they went from Nerd to Bond (not helped by the oscar winner actor that cannot act beyond a weirdo nerd)

Predator Killer of Killers - 6 mostly OK, failed to include the Predator as a full character in is movie

Speak no Evil (2022) - 6/10
The danish original is kind of a frustrating movie, but it can be read as an analogy as to where political correctness leads, which makes it more interesting and somewhat satirical. Sacrifices plot consistency to make a point.

Speak no Evil (2024) - 7/10
The US version mostly removed that metaphor to be more neutral but is the better and more entertaining movie. Plot has better structure but it becomes merely a solid psychothriller.

Megan 2.0. weak 6/10. you can have a worse time watching a movie, but meh... Very much like a bad Terminator movie i'd say.

All characters who are smart, strong are of course women, the one dude that has a small role is scared and pukes, a total cuck who's useless and weak. "Hollywood 2.0"

The Old Guard 2
4/10 Uneven pacing. The movie looks incomplete as thou toward the end of filming they decided to milk the franchise for another sequel and changed the script senselessly.

Imax - Cinestar. Great stuff, same director as Top Gun: Maverick. Brad is really good.

Final Destination Bloodlines (2025) 7.5/10
Fun movie, some graphic deaths too, like old times.

The Monkey (2025) 7/10
Also an entertaining dark comedy

Until Dawn (2025) 5/10
I did like the 'groundhog day' setup (but I like those type of movies in general), in the sense that the movie plays out like the player would play the game. But story didn't make a lot of sense.

Sinners (2025) 7.5/10
I liked it, took a bit of time to get going though, in particular the first part, before the party/dance.

Warfare (2025) 6/10
Realistic portrayal of urban combat, but also 90 minutes of 2 guys screaming in pain. I feel there are better war stories to tell than this.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) 9/10
Classic, Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro in their prime.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Canary Black (2024) 5/10
One of the last movies Ray Stevenson worked.
Kate Beckinsale, even surgeoned, is still cute looking.
Brain dead spy action thriller.
The global bad guys in it are greedy Croatians (that's a change from the usual suspects) who want to steal one ( Dr. Evil moment ) trillion dollars. Smile
