Nice, actually I can't discern any quality differences with bare eyes in my testing images, but I prefer it to Web Image Guru, so I'm uninstalling that and keeping this,lol.

well, photoshop's 'save for web' thingie has lots of optimization options for jpegs, gifs and pngs
i really doubt there's any single app that does it better with a visual comparison and all
for pure code quality you might want to look into open source apps like imagemagik and such, but expect lots of experimentation due to lack of fancy easy to use UI like photoshop
but keep in mind that there really isn't that much wiggle-room with jpeg compression.. the algorithm is what it is
