dunno though, I'm hoping that as you increase in levels, I think the significance of your aim should increase quite a bit..

Never be COD but I'm really enjoying this tbh..

I'm too lazy to read back through 85 pages of posts, so if I'm asking a question that's already been answered, I apologize.

Is there a way to quick cycle through the weapons you're carrying in game without having to go into the pip boy thingy and select them there? My son tells me that you can on the 360 version, so I was hoping that there was something similar on the pc version?

Thanks...

yes there is....hotkeys...go into weapons, press a number, then click on which weapon you want to be drawn when you press that key in game-incidently, if you look back a page or two it has been mentioned before

Thanks Surprised

A tested way to improve smoothness is the "Oblivion trick":

However if the frame rates drop below 50 , the game goes into complete slow mo as the game is clamped to work at 60 so that doesn't help a great deal.

I did something similar important thing is not to save your game anytime after he told you to meet him so you can reload if something goes wrong, eventually he will show up BUT not at the memorial but outside the metro station, then he will tell you that slavers occupy the memorial even tough you've probably killed them all anyway and then you lead them on the memorial to charge the non-existing slave platoon.

Why is that so funny ? Fallout 2 had a quest that gave you a car you could use to fast travel to location.

And Oblivion had horses.

His question is not so far-fetched imho Smile

Printscreen.
No clue as to why they made the game save images in .bmp format though tbh.

I'm a level 6 evil Raider...

Playing without vats, I got this Shishkebab (spelling?) flame sword; I've logged a good few hours just wiping places out, looting them and then selling all the shit to the closest trader..

Just cleared out a fucking trainyard and foundry with a whole bar inside a cave.. took about 10 or so trips to sell all their shit...

And how did that work out for ya?
Any given NPC usually runs out of caps after selling a fourth of the loot i want to sell, at later levels you just sell 1 item and you cant even get full compensation for it because they simply dont have enough caps to pay you the 1000 caps that item is worth Sad

Or did you find a supervendor somewhere? Very Happy

ANd for the record, level 20 "Last, best hope of humanity" Very Happy

The roving traders seem to renew their stock and amount of base caps after a period of time if that's what you mean...

You may be further into the game though and talking about dealing with more valuable shit than me, usually It's just raiders, so assault rifles, armor etc...

I keep the ammo of course, so I'm only dealing in 2/300 caps per trip usually, and any ammo the trader has I'll buy..

[EDIT]
Just read your edits... Guess it may be an issue further down the road..

I had the same problem from the get go, first thing i did when i got out of the vault i went to spingvale school and cleared it out, with the loot i got there i emptied all vendors in Megaton city of caps.

Though it's easier getting caps now because there's a few other ways of doing it, have absolutely no need for it anymore though Very Happy
