While I like the GTA series and have since the first game I won't mind waiting for this one. I tend to get bored of them fast anyways... I normally start off killing everything I see and then get bored fast and just complete the missions and never play the games again.

killing civilians constantly for no reason makes the game boring
the plot missions are what makes it interesting

LOL! Once again, ERSB gets it right. They were the ones that "accidently" added GTA4, as well as a few other so-far-unannounced titles, to the "Windows PC" list.

All the naysayers got owned on this one. Anyone that knows the release cycle of the GTA series would know that PC gamers *would* be getting GTA4 eventually. Give it a year on consoles, then port to the PC - invariably with much better performance and increased visual quality.
Besides, as I said on another site -- ESRB don't make mistakes. They're far too important to the gaming world to make mistakes. If your game doesn't get a rating from ESRB, it's NOT being sold on the market - period. So if a game appears on the ESRB database, you can take that as gospel.
That said, we can expect "Guitar Hero: World Tour", "Bully - Scholarship Edition" and even "Dead Rising" eventually .. as all those games appeared on ESRBs site during the last year (even if they have subsequently vanished, it doesn't mean they're not coming)

Rockstar Games Announces Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC
New York, NY – August 6, 2008 – Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto IV will be arriving on the PC on November 18th and 21st in North America and Europe, respectively.
"We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can't wait for people to play it."
Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, the latest installment in the enormously successful Grand Theft Auto series features a painstakingly detailed and life-like city for players to explore; a rich, immersive narrative experience; an original soundtrack highlighting the cultural eclecticism of Liberty City; and newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC.

Eurogamer and Shacknews have this story, while a no-name blogger quotes someone without providing the source?
Who to beleive? Who to beleive? The suspense is killing me!
/sarcasm off Spoiler: | Not to mention the date it was submitted. |

I don't, unfortunately, I just remember reading (and getting more than a tad excited about it too, as this was before I got my 360) earlier this year.
