Yes, that site had a pre-order and a 'Games for windows' box mocked up before the game was released on the consoles, the date is nothing more than a guess from the shop owners which can be changed if and when a real release date comes out.

They also had the release date for the Crysis expansion on their site a whole month before anybody had even knew it existed. Proof..
I don't know how, but I'm confident they know something. I'd put money on a Q4 2008 release for GTA 4 if I were a gamblin' man.

god im so happy that i did buy the xbox 360 because of Gta 4 after reading that shit... theres no point in not buying ... as far as i know it even costs Bill Gaytes , if you buy one and after just get it flashed... jo he f*** with us, we f*** with him haha... but have to admit that i buyed GTA 4 but only because it came bundled with lots of other stuff and my console.
Mahh hope they improve graphics abit till pc release ... but as far as i remember Gta was never über eye candy... but really cool people dont need to look good, they are just cool^^

I'd wager for a bit later release, I mean isn't that 360-exclusive DLC content due at around christmas time? Microsoft would probably bitch if the pc release would take away the attention.

I wondered the same, but its not like anyone would buy the PC version instead of the Xbox DLC. Some people will buy both, and the PC release could even increase publicity for the DLC, so I'm still hoping.
