Either that or I have to re-install windows, videos is getting really off.

It's not too difficult to remove them manually. Plus you know what you removed as opposed to some application going in and doing who knows what.
Device Manager - Sound, video and game controllers - Video/Audio codecs - Properties
Remove the apps which use them first though like codec packs and individual codecs.

it say they are all "OK", but is having 134 codec's "OK"

if all else fails, get gspot to list all codecs and their respective files and enter "regsvr32 /u codecfilename.ax" on commandline to remove them
you can then go and delete or move the actual files from system32

do what swingman suggested and don't be afraid to remove them all, sound as well. Then add a good codec pack like Klite or CCCP, it's like magic
No advertising.
