Evolution for xam has been released.

i installed this expansion pack and i cant seem to play it , i dont see anywhere where you launch the expansion pack it just takes you to normal arma menu

Or you can copy the shortcut from ArmA menu.
And btw you can access Royal Flush campaign from the regular ArmA after installing expansion.

Uh... guys, why does Hatred release shows up as german here on my PC? How can you change the language via some config editing or smthg? I can't change it in-game. The release has no 'german' labels on it or in the NFO.. o.O

Afair the game calculates the language from the cd-key. Use a serial from the razor keygen.
EDIT: Also to avoid a full re-install :

There are a ton of other addons that are good, from weapon skin mods to suit ur area of combat. Various full map mods with the making of new islands etc.. Sakakah being one of the good desert types.
List is endless unfortunatley with arma. You have to get in there get involved playing and check out the feedback on the mods what they do and if its going to suit ur playing time etc..
Oh and I bought arma, didnt buy queens gambit though as that is basicaly just a mod addon release from BIS.. But so you know most addons these days are using the queens gambit addon pack, so probably best u make sure u have that installed as well.

I have Queens Gambit (though the dialogue in the first mission makes me wish I didn't ) I'll check out your recommendations thanks - it's difficult to sift through the forums/sites when you've been away from them for so long.

and arma wasnt made really for single player if u aske me all dialogue is a bit grim, and heck ive never played through the whole sp stuff, just not worth it. Online is where its at with arma.
Maybe check out the GOL clan site http://www.gol-clan.net/ for the 3 packs they have which they use on theyre server, some nice stuff in there and all nicely put together..
P.s always make sure u got the latest Eventhandlers mod made by solus.. its used in almost every mod now to control actions and stuff and to keep all mods working with eachother..

VFAI - AI uses smoke to cover - scans for weapons and ammo to resupply
DSAI - Adds chatter - both friendly and enemy
DMSmokeEffects - adds viewblock smoke - AI doesn't 'see' through smoke - plus better smoke and explosions
TrueView - adds FPS mouselook

VFAI is a server side file i believe only right ?
I stopped using DMsmoke effects for the smoke grenade viewblock cause it wast quite right still as far as im aware.. I tended to prefer just using the Vegetation fix for altering the shrubs/trees models (shocking how they were from BIS) etc to give a more proper coverage for the hidden factor if ur behind them etc..

wow they're up to 12 patches now and STILL ain't got it right... I'm glad I got my refund from softwrap when I bought this game off the net before the US release.

you don't do too much programming, do you?
the game hasn't had any major issues in a long while
there will always be small bugs to fix in a big project like a game
actually fixing some of them doesn't mean it's worse quality than most games, that get maybe two or three patches and then are left to rot in a corner and die, wether it had bugs in it or not
