A Eurotrashy vidgame knockoff that misses its target by a mile. > arrr u crabby cunt.EURO.WTF?

I haven't played the video game but >> WTF? but u suck

Timothy Olyphant, is a soulless, emotionally dead protagonist. > WELL THIS IS SP..arr.no.. THIS IS HITMAN !! soulless. again WTF?

then someone is complaining about the fact that the movie doesn't have humor or smth like that. WTF??? hitman telling jokes or what?

What is more pathetic is the fact that hollywood toke a huge dump on the franchise, not only could they have hired the original actor for far less money then that douche Olyphant, but they also destroyed the whole plot, killing for the good my ass...

ok so i was just skipping thru the movie again having watched it a few days ago, and two thoughts hit me... 1... hey lets resurrect the dead hitman thread... and 2... what the fuck is going on here?

i missed it the first time, i was on dribble-mode in preperation to watch it... but second time through i see this and wonder... why are the 3 hitmen who are trying to kill 47, all pointing their guns at each other? i know the film isnt supposed to make much sense, but come on, thats just beyond dumb and well into stupid country...

I think only one could perhaps "claim" the reward of killing him, in this case probably money, a lot of it.

Just a theory thou.

then during the fight why were the hitmen all ignoring each other and just focusing on 47 Very Happy the only remotely reasonable explanation i could come up with was that none of them knew other hitmen were involved, so were just covering them until they knew what the situation was... *shrugs* but most likely it was probably just done this way for symmetry so it looked pretty on film Very Happy

well, lets say he gets killed. then they would have to focus on each other again but without 47. Perhaps they though that they had a better chance going 1on1 instead of 3v3 later. Well I don't know the movie was weird in a way.

well if that was the case, why didnt the third hitman dude show up and blast everyone while their attention was on each other Very Happy yeah the whole things just to make a movie, theres no practical reason for anything that happens during that scene...

does make for a nice knife fight though (which i guess WAS the practical reason for that scene eh?: Wink)... however impractical it was for those long knives to be stored where they were... Very Happy

What a thought out post. Love how some of you will use anything to try and insult Americans. So original, yawn.

This movie is meant to be a mindless popcorn flick, nothing else. Anyone trying to critique it is as you said, stupid.

It doesn't matter what kind of film it is, there are certain criteria which are universal across the cinematic medium. So of course you can still critique it, as long as you take into account the genre and certain other commercial factors any movie is fair game.

He's right about it being utter crap. You don't have to be a stupid american to like it, just plain stupid is enough.

The original script wasn't bad, but the cut (leaving huge holes in the plot), fox's reshots (meaningless sword fight/train scene) & the overall cheapness rendered it ludicrous.

to be fair, the movie sucked so bad that im GLAD it had the meaningless sword sequence... it was the shiney gem in this turd of a film.. without it, it would have been COMPLETELY useless, yes, even if they hadnt trimmed out the probably idiotic extended plot. if fox looked at it, and said god damn that sucks, needs more pointless action, then for once, im glad for studio interferance.
