Japanese cars are good, they sure are. But they have no rust-protection (atleast not a good one) for our nordic conditions.

German cars are also quality, but they arent cheap, and spare parts costs alot!

Swedish cars are of great quality, and ofcourse comes with the necessary rust-protection Smile

Oh, and Mercedes cars dont do well with rust either, ive heard some horrible stories, like cars from 2000-2005 having to be sent to the junkyard cause they were totally eaten up by rust.

Mercedes are terrible at rust improvement, a friend of mine works at Mercedes and say even new Mercedeses start to rust after very short time.

I voted germany. Mercedes 123 show how good old cars are made of.

American cars seriously lack quality, especially the ones from the early 90s to early 2000. Im not sure how they are today, but they arent perfect.

French cars - they are pretty good at coming up with new design and technology features, and they do well in crash-tests. But they also have the quality flaw. They break way to easy, and the average lifespan of a newer french car isnt really good.

Why would anyone buy british car? High price low quality. French cars have the most expensive parts which is ridicules since they break more then Fiat and Fiat has the cheapest parts.

@ tainted4ever Its not Yugo its Zastava. Yugo is the name of model.

Well there is Aston Martin if you got shitloads of money..

And sorry forgot England Very Happy

And all french cars suck, so i didnt want them in the poll Twisted Evil Now sue me ^^
French cars got cool electrical technology(mostly useless tho) and low CO2 discharge... more than that, nah. Megane and 307 must be one of the worst mass prodused cars ever made. Might aslo be some fiat or Alfa Romeo Razz

Yes Nakitu, because Aston Martin make low quality cars.

Land Rover are terrible too. Always breaking down. The British army should get rid of the early stock that have been going strong for the last 40 years.

Lets really scrape the barrel and choose Rolls Royce.

Yes indeed, British cars are really low quality.

Anyone like the new TVR?

Aston Martin - Hand made beautiful vehicle made for rich people to show how much money they have with uter shit controls. No person that has any knowledge about sports cars would buy it.
Rolls Royce - This is not a car its a train
Land Rover - In the past, Land Rover has not had a particularly good reputation for reliability, but it has shown improvements in this regard in recent years. Today, the company is known for luxury SUVs with the latest amenities as well as superb off-road capability. Again same shit.

If you want sports car and have money you go for Ferrari or Porsche or if you want luxury with power Brabus.

I thought this topic is about normal cars not sports cars. Oh and i dont have anything against England i only think ( as do most people that know shit about cars) that they cost to much and have low quality. You can get much faster, safer car for less money.

Germany, NO DOUBT!. I am working for a Japanese company, but nothing beats Audi, BMW and Mercedes in Design/Quality...maybe Lexus, but that's it!

PS British car's are not what they used to be (sorry)...Aston is still ha SUPER GOOD LOOKING car, but quallity...Sad....sorry guys, but there it is.

@Jenni, TWR...not my cup a tea...to organic and old looking, DB9 is still pure porn if you ask me...that's from a design point of view. A true modern classic, not much beats it on the street...if you want a true classic look that is Wink

Now I wonder why Mr. Bond chose to drive AM's, hey Wink

You are just like a friend of mine Wink Love german cars. Japanese cars don't have so great comfort some people say. Like the seats etc.

The Audi A4 has turned out to be almost as good as japanese cars (also as a used car). Toyota have had some major problems with oil pump and transmissions on 2007 Camery and Avensis. So don't have that much faith in a car just because its a japanese car. But a old Toyota corolla will go until it dies of big amounts of rust, no other way Razz Best car if you just want to get from A to B. If you are some strange mofo who want to spend all your time on the car Alfa Romeo would be the brand to get.

Cox: old german cars had lots of breakdowns. But Mercedes often reach over 1mill km, but often taken off the road because of rust, just like with Toyotas. But hey, the kings of rust is Kia and Hyundai

Well when I said quallity, I meant Design quallity...sorry. I used to drive a Audi TT...had one of the 1st ones in Frankfurt. Was cool because ppl really turned around when U came zipping by.

But one day on the way home from work i hear this "thump....goink"...or what ever. Engine stalled and I had to drive home in 3rd fracking gear, or the engine would have stalled.

Managed to get to work the next day, and drove to the Audi Garage. The guy said its "probably the starter engine" etc etc. Ok so far so good.

I got a call after lunch time...the guy asked me if I am "sitting down"...THE FRACKING PISTION! went right through the engine block!!!!!. RIGHT THROUGH!, there was a fracking hole in the fracking engine block!...and i wasn't even pushing the engine at the time when it happened...quallity ???.

Any how sold it and bought my BMW 3 series 4wd 3L...have to sell that now as I have a the new Outlander as a company car, and it's just collecting dust ...the Beamer that is.

TVR isn't exactly a representative of it's country of origin given the small scale production and price.

EDIT: Also the bad part about cars is people get swayed by lemons, some manufacturers have more then others but that's generally what the "bad" is based off of.
