IF you have a 8800 the 162.15 beta are fucked install the 158.22

or if you don`t have 8800 then install the 94.24

or if you don`t have a Nvidia card then get new drivers for you ATI

discworld are u retarded? simple question needed simple answer.
There are engines that have been rewritten and now also support dx10( coh or call of juarez for instance).
Why bother if u don't know what u are talking about?

Works with 162.15 on 8800 here. But doesnt help much since I cant get past the second mission in the quarry.

It will not advance if you lose any guys (Team must all survive). Personally I think the .EXE is f**ked because there is corruption in some of the text and a fair bit of crashing. I really dont like having to install those ghey ass Aegia drivers. I thought that shi**y tech died out ages ago. I really shouldnt have to have those drivers installed if I am not running the card.

Have all guys alive. Not even injured. Get a S and 2 "medals". Oh well, guess there is a bug or has someone else gotten past this mission?

I got past it, I was doing the Juarez mission and then I got a phone call, will get back to it this evening. Like I said, it feels bugged to me but it did advance.

i know that there are "dx10 patches" for some games but there have been no news about Graw2 getting one this far... and these dx10 patches suck... its not the "real" dx10. Want dx10? wait and get crysis... And the dx10 patch doesn't add anything new but some shit ass bloom and shiny latex textures (y)

its just stupid to ask some dumb question over and over again... use google...

Dam the sounds are sometimes fucked up on the game. Hopefully there will be a patch soon Crying or Very sad

why you people are running the 162.15 ? nvidia already released new fixed beta driver 162.18 XP!
If you are using Vista then format, Vista is crap for games

Why that, you installed it and found your rig could not cope or?...or did you not even install it and just read somewhere that its crap? Cause my end, VISTA out guns XP like nothing else.

Errr, not true. Maybe for some (very few things) but XP has a very clear performance advantage over Vista in games (For the moment). Thats just a fact. Vista wont come into its own for months. I run both and just as an example, ArmA is crippled in Vista compared to XP (8800s anyway). On top of that, most games are still being written for XP (DX9), so there is no reason why they would perform better under Vista. This will change, but it hasnt yet.

Never ran ARMA, but as far as I can see running SH4 Wink and GRAW2, Lost Planet...what else...MTW II, i find VISTA just runs faster. My experience, but what the heck.
EVGA 680i, EVGA 8800GTX, 2GB OCZ NV SLI, WDRx2 0R, X-Fi fatality Extreme, G5, G15, etc etc. Again, can't say I feel anything that slows down my world using VISTA.

Good reading here :

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3029

I doubt any of the games you mentioned run faster under Vista and Lost Planet is about 1.5 FPS faster in Vista and that is not noticeable. Not trying to be confrontational, just that the facts are not backing up your statements.

QX6800, ASUS Striker Extreme, 2 x Leadtek 8800 GTX (SLI), 4 Gig Corsair 6400, 2 x 150 10K Raptor, 2 x 1TB Hitatchi Storage, X-Fi Elite Pro, G5, Enermax KB, G25 wheel etc etc.

i run Vista 32 Ultimate, use Black Vipers new Vista service tweaks, turned of some elements of Aero (the biggest disappointment so far in Vista), turned off the widgets bar... and Vista is fine as a gaming platform and i like some of the new features as an OS. its just not worth $400 and never will be. even older games work fine... been playing lots of Diablo 2 lately.

anyways...

so is anyone recommending waiting to grab this? im curious if its gonna get nuked.
