Finished this game a few minutes ago , what a disappointment ! The ending is so lame , worst one I've seen so far imo.

There are 7 endings i believe, two of which are supposed to be good

EDIT:

To fully understand what's going on, you'll need to get one of the two true endings. The five false ones explain very little.

As for what i think of the game. I dont mind it at all runs fine at 1680x1050 res and max settings on my system (X2 3800+,7900gt and 2gb ram). Only get the typical slowdown during level/map loading other then that seems fine the only problem ive run into is the dodgy door.

I tried it like 20 times then i just got pissed of and quit the game.. its not supposed to be that hard just after 1 hour.. i got so damn desperate i started throwing bolts at them idiots >_<

besides they took like 1 year+ on them to tweak this game and this is what we get? soldiers that can withstand 4 shotgun blasts.. one fucking shot should blow em thru a wall or something... also these guys know where i am even if i run around and hide.. i was sneaking around on top of this roof and i heard them shooting at me all the time..and yes ironsights are useless.. theres a bigger chance u nail the enemies by shooting normally. I dont know what these guys were thinking when they released this game or the guys who beta tested it geez.. feck im pissed Razz anyway if u got links to cheats or console commands then please link em here

Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong. The shotgun does blow people away when close enough. The combat type. The sawn-off shit is effective at close range only. And it takes exactly one shot to take out a military guy with armor. Iron sights are VERY effective, you just never fired a real weapon and you probably shoot the thin air instead of your targets. Tracers would REALLY help all you noobs to see where you're actually shooting when you think you're aiming at the head. It's NOT CS or BF2, it's totally different.

And once again, people tend to hate what they don't or can't understand. That is exactly the case here.

wrong wrong and wrong sorry but ur just saying the opposite of what i was.. yes 1 shot to the head usually does it but 4 shots with a sawn of shotgun and the guy is still standing? Thats just stupid and i know how to aim.. i had it on them all the time yet these guns keep missing its not my fault.. the only weapon i found effective was the grenades wich could take out 3 or 4 guys at once, and sometimes the npcs are not even turned against u so u try to sneak up behind him and bam he turns around and ur dead.. i dunno what difficutly ur playing on, super easy or something? cuz it sure as hell is hard for me, and i dont hate this game i never said i did.. im just dissapointed in it.

I'm playing on second diff setting, as usually. Everything above is uber-hard in the beginning. Unreasonably hard, I'd say.
Have you seen the spread of the sawn-off? It sure would take 3-4 shots at the body even at 5 m coz you're pecking him with 3-4 buckshots out of 20. And the soldiers DO take ONE close blow from it to go out flying.

Btw, get over the damn sawn off - it's a weapon for the first 15 minutes of the game, dammit )) just to take out that first patrol under the bridge by running like a madman between those concrete blocks and hitting them in the face.

Using the Vitality release I ran into a problem. Maybe its something really dumb but about 15 seconds after I finish the conversation with the very first NPC in the game the food meter (I assume.. fork and stuff) turns red and all my HP drains and I fall over dead. I tried quickly buying food and chowing down before the starvation takes me but no luck.

Did this happen to anyone else?

haha yeah this has happened to other people, someone said it might have something to do with multi-core processors but that sounds weird. Did you accidentally turn up the game speed with /, * on the numpad?

Actually that's probably it. With my key setup I use * on the numpad for 'use.'

Thanks, I'll try that!

Thank you but the code does not work. I suppose it won't work until I have found it in-game. Holy crap! Where can I find it? Is it supposed to be in that big room where I killed the monster? Or anywhere else?

/edit WTF i ran around the marked location and pressed F (use) like hell when suddenly I got the message with the code. But there's no corpse or pda whatsoever. Nice bug. ~.~

not sure but I would bet factions would have something to do with it. When the game is out for a bit people will find out what you need to trigger, as well as probably uploading the endings.

As explained a few times since the start of the thread you get two new multiplayer maps and a bunch of multiplayer character skins, no use in singleplayer whatsoever.
