Cos if 1 nuke is used, more countries will realize they can be the next target (like korea, china) and attack too. We also have russia which I concider to be a ticking bomb.
If one of these two entities, US & EU, attack the other one, others countries would do better to realize quickly that they can be the next target, because not a single country would be out of the range of the belligerents, with nuclear or conventional warheads over ICBM and SLBM, and would thus be potentially directly threatened.

Will they whip us to death with olive trees?

Probably yes! You don't completely rely on your technology now do you? DO YOU? Because that alone won't help you win a war. You need more than that.

Im 100% sure they would be on the EU side even though their current leader is a lapdog to the united states.

Or they could break off and be on their own side. With the "best" trained tea/biscuit-soldiers in the world I am sure they would win it all. Laughing Laughing

LOL.

My somewhat sarcastic take on Canada’s role.

I think Canada would claim to be neutral. Then we would open our doors to all the displaced and angry refugees from EU and USA. These displaced refugees with similar ideas, experiences, and anger would then band together to form gangs and continue the war on the streets. Soon some smart ass figures out you can finance the war overseas with drug money. So that is what happens.

This thread is an amusing one. While I would like to think the USA would win, I think it would depend on a number of factors:
1) Would the combatants use nuclear weapons or would this be a purely conventional war?
2) Would both sides mobilize all of their capabilities unselfishly (i.e. would Poland be able to contribue to the EU war effort as well as Britain and France could? Would other states chip in to help the poorer countries mobilize?)
3) Would the EU generals take into account that some countries' forces would be weaker and less trained than others, or would they be politically correct and risk losing battles to appease the politicians?
4) What neutral parties (China, Russia, India, Africa, Canada, Mexico, etc.) would involve themselves and what sort of support would they provide?
5) Would one or both parties resort to the no-holds-barred kind of warfare needed to dominate an enemy or would they fight the war politically?

I think the most important questions are #1 and #2. I don't see either side winning a nuclear war. As for EU mobilization and commitment of troops, the EU as a country would have to worry that specific member states would ignore the demand for troops to appease their own citizens, particularly if they felt their country's troops were dying/being sent to the most dangerous places unfairly. If the EU truly combined in the face of a common threat, you could be an awesome force. Right now, the EU lacks the unity to win a struggle. The EU reminds me of the Austro-Hungarian Empire fighting in WW1, and their diversity and lack of unity hurt their combat effectiveness.

If you didn't notice I am talking pre-emptive strikes. But I agree with you on the sniper rifle of course.

And SpykeZ, no reason to call me arrogant or biased because you don't agree with my opinion. I don't know what your idea of a fun debate on a potential serious issue is? Smile

woa sorry dood, that wasnt aimed at you in any way, I just meant in general there are some people here that would start something. not you lol, your one of the few on here I actually like.
