Bad crack, bad install? Try reinstalling it and use another crack perhaps.

Then why don't you ask in the Fifa World Cup 06 Forum? Surely there you'd rather find help than here if it is really a legit game... Rolling Eyes

from past experience I learned most people here have better computer knowledge, and I wont even bother to ask ea tech support, if any of you have ever delt with them you will know why.

Oh goodness, I'm being aggro'ed by some anonymous kiddie over the internet. Now I'm sad. Sad

Rolling Eyes

Anyway, I'd just think that peeps on the official forum might have a similar problem with an original/legit .exe file, so it would be a better place to ask for help than here where people mainly deal with cracked .exe files which are sometimes not working.

But it seems Sublime found a solution. Let us know if it helped. Smile

Eh dude, Sublimes "fix" is about another program called IKernel.exe and not FIFAWC06.exe.

Then because it is an original app (never thought that could happen around here Wink ) I say contact the publishers. Best idea I have... :\

I once asked for support to a company (not EA) and it went something like this

---- I can't find my CD key on the manual. Help Confused ----

I got this a day later...

--- Please update your graphics card drivers from the manufacturer's website i.e. www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com---

I lol'd Smile

The End.

Well what that error is saying is that instruction at memory location 0x66788c9c allocated meomory @ 0x00a2b000, but could not read this memory location. The numbers are hexadecimal locations of where the instruction/pointer should have been stored.

So i would say

1. Reinstall the game, directx, or video/sound drivers

or

2. You could have bad memory, run an overnight test.

Do you get memory errors running anything else?
