Game is a lot brighter now but I love the new accessibility features.
Been a few years since the previous playtrough, hard to believe its been 11 years since the game actually launched.

Another remaster in a year full of them, but a good one.

EDIT: Still gaming, but less frequently and a lot has been clearing out a large backlog prorject so not really much to discuss.

But wanted to get back to this, Cyberpunk 2077 updated fantastically over time even if it also took a few years, and then the previous work for the earlier Witcher games. Had high hopes for this one too and so far so good.

Account connectivity and data telemetry was also introduced but for once its opt-in and not opt-out and entirely optional though cross-save progression is tied to said account linking.

Currently broken on AMD. Not that I was planning on playing, but checked it out and looks like an early 2000's game.

Edit 2 hours later: Oh, nice, the optional driver update fixed it.

nah, those crushed blacks looks horrible to be honest. lighting looks better too.

works really great with everything on ultra RT, PT + DLSS 5. 2x framgen. Super smooth too, unlike Skyrim which i am also playing with DLSS 5, its super demanding in comparison (3000 mods though).

just wish it had first person.

Runs surprisingly well in 4K with Pathtracing on a 9070XT +9800X3D , obviously with FSR4 +2xFG.

I'm kinda having problems distinguishing between RT and PT, maybe because I normally play without them.

Hmmm, intredasting, in CP2077 (same engine?) the difference is very noticeable visually.

I think it's because it has more lights. I checked Novigrad in the night and the lights cast by torches were definitely nicer with RT and PT, they felt kinda flat on Ultra. But still not sure I would take the performance hit just for it.

I just have zero fucks to give about ray tracing. Doesn’t add any immersion for me. I’ll probably wait till the dlc comes out and see what’s up.

Well, nature looks much nicer with PT. The leaves with path traced light on them just "pop".

Still not sure it's worth the drop in performance.

first person view toggle. ctrl+mouse wheel up or down to toggle. not really made for combat. No ASI loader or DLL files required.
Switches to third person for Roach.

RTX and (especially) PT look... weird?!

Too bright / almost washed out.

PT in CP2077 looks (and runs) MUCH better.
