It seemed OK to me for the campy 'middle aged man' feels they are aiming for.
I feel it's trying a BIT hard on the 'member all the outlandish cartoon things they did? Like punch cars, flip upside down and float and spin kick? And thighs! 'member? Cammy and Chun's tights? They are there overly spotlighted too! AS we carried that over into live action.
While I think they nailed it. That doesn't mean they nailed something good. Just they did a good job replicating something that doesn't translate well.
Much like if they make the Naruto live action have Naruto 'Naruto running' into battle each time as a real person in a movie. The replication is spot on, but it looks cringey in that live medium.
