Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka is also the tour I would really like to do one day.
How long is your trip in total? I feel it'll have to be at least 3 weeks to properly see all 3 cities, given the long travel time and cost.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
I can also highly recommend visiting Nara patk for tame deers you can feed and pet. Was definitely up there as a favorite among my group when i traveled there in 23.
I wish I had taken the opportunity to travel to remote parts of the world (like Japan for instance). I haven't been outside Europe either.
I've been in Norway (I'm half-Norwegian) and Denmark (which take less than 2 hours to reach from where I live)[/b] obviously, them being neighbours and all), Germany (I visited CeBIT '93 in Hannover with my boss) and finally UK. I went to London, England with my live-in girlfriend in the 90'ies. It was okay but I vowed to never again expect a touristy/fun trip with a girlfriend and instead go with friends.
So many countries inside and outside of Europe that I want to visit. I don't have the economy though.
@Ankh, I'm sure you're going to have an amazing trip with your family members. I have friends who've been there and they had an amazing time. Yes, prepare to be culture shocked and treated like the tourist you are unless you know some of their most common customs and behavioural codes.
Man I envy you guys. Wish I had the travel bug
I don't want to visit anywhere. Even when I travelled for work, I'd work, goto my hotel, and stay in all night.
I even had the discussion once with a friend in discord (well a few was) That "if you had a full paid week trip to anywhere. ALL expenses covered where would you go? My answer: Can I just get the cash equivalent?
It seems awesome in theory, and people seem to love going places. I just can't get into it

I don't have the travel gene in myself too, only do it occasionally because one other person likes to travel. Luckily she does all the planning work, though usually i end up paying But i still suggest her go with her friends whenever possible
I have a small summer house at other side of the country, that's the only travelling i like to do on the weekends
