Guess its timed exclusive since the demo has steam_api64.dll and it even loads it before the epic store.dll

This was a pretty good game

Absolutely, it was extremely immersive and featured some remarkable tech for its time despite being made on a limited budget. The methodical combat system with proper local dismemberment was cutting-edge, along with the dynamic lighting -- all at the service of exploration-friendly levels free from hand-holding/silly interfaces, and designed exclusively for PC. The good stuff.

Too bad the main inspiration for the new game seems to be Dad of War with all its gamey sub-systems, but then again it's a couch's world.
