I agree, even camrips are suitable for comedy, drama and some thrillers with basic cinemaography. but all the visual eye candy and or stylish visonary shit must be watched in a glorious format out of sheer respect to DOPs, production designers and directors.

Wel, you show support and respect to the production companies when you pay for shit. The people who made the film have already been paid, so really, you do show respect for their work by choosing to view it under the best conditions to admire their craft.
And given how low-effort a lot of productions are the days, I think it's a worthwhile endeavour to (as much as possible) appreciate the quality shit whenever we can.

So true, I basically leech everything related to movies/series. I hardly visit cinema's any more(which is only like a 5min drive lol) and most movies aren't really worth it. I rather leech them, most of them aren't that great either way.. So I'm not gonna complain or be an entitled bitch if there is no super quality (blu-ray) out there that doesn't feed my needs.. For quality, be it Koreanrips or HDrips, web-dl, etc it's all fine for me. Even a Dvdscr is watchable for me, well most of them anyway. There were only a few movies I actually enjoyed watching in the cinema this year, the latest was Blade Runner 2049 which was well worth it imo.
Only things I leech tho, as I haven't leeched any decent games in like forever, well except for every CoD each year cuz fuck paying for CoD shit , my opinion tho.
