The Iron Claw - 7/10
Wrestling movie based on a true story, also Zac Efron on steroids.

Civil War - 5/10
Had potential, but the journo framing ruins it beyond salvation.

Sting - 5/10
I liked the Wormwood movies from the director of this, unfortunately it was rather downhill journey from there. Definitely bettery than his previous movie. Sting tries too hard to be in style of Ted Raimi but just doesn't deliver, it's like Kiah Roache-Turner watched Evil Dead while doomscrolling and didn't pay enough attention. Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't good - just undercooked mediocre creature feature.

The guys who gave the world 'Ready or not,' apparently.

Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!

Hypnotic - 3/10
I was browsing prime video wanting something to watch, I was like oh Ben Affleck with a cool looking premise let me watch it. This movie is an example of why you check reviews before you put something on sigh. Least it was only 90 min or so lol.
Story/script was just complete nonsense.

The Fall Guy - 5/10
Exactly as shallow as advertised, with the technically competent (over)action surrounded by inane dialogues and Leitch's signature kool groove that unfortunately I tend to find more cringe-y than stylish. It's definitely one of the movies of all time.
The Last of USA: Press War - out of focus/10
How to tell a story without saying anything, which works up to a point thanks to its fairly solid acting along with the familiar dystopian post-Muricalyptic tone where fungi and zombies were replaced by random tribalisms and orange allusions. The problem is, there's not enough meat to the bone and ultimately the one more picture-driven drama comes across as a bit silly (and predictable), not quite the ideal outcome for something that's supposed to be engaging/whatever Garland thought it would elicit here.

Civil War
The $40 they spent on street battles and special effects went a long way

Godzilla -1 - +7
A bit melodramatic, a bit lost opportunity on the human department. Light years forward than its Hollywood counterparts on those, tough.
Special effects, for the budget, were great (special mention to God of the Zillas munching battleships in the middle action piece!)

The Devil's Advocate: 8/10. Nice!
L.A. Confidential: 9/10. Great movie.
Moneyball: 7.25/10. I'm not at all into baseball but it's decent watch.
Side Effects: 7.5/10. Nice twist.
The Usual Suspects: 8.5/10. Also a great movie, been a while since I've watched it.
PC: Yes. Console: No.

I really loved the non-godzilla parts. The one drama surrounding him being a failed pilot was great.

Killers of the Flower Moon - 7.5/10
Poignant, very good acted and sometimes slow to a fault tale of an inhumane atrocity.

Fun fact: Mad Max: Fury Road didn't break even either.

Movies typically need 2-2.5x budget. Budget is said to be ~185M, that'd be 460M needed. It made 380M in box office, so just 80M for home sales + streaming money? Seems possible.
