@madness
I didnt even think about it, I took for granted it was based in vice city (miami) and since I live here if florida that they copied florida news memes with: The gator in the pool, Crazy hammer lady, Tat face idiot mugshot Laughing

Didn't even think to mention "1/2 those scenes are actual florida meme's".

Speaking of gators. My parents was crazy. Grandparents lived on a small lake that had gators in it. They just let us go swimming at 10 years old by ourselves. Even if we saw one we was told "they are more scared of you, just ignore it". Now I am grown...BULLSHIT.
NO way I would let me kids do the same. I swam in dark florida lake water with gators I SAW (two eyes above the water) sometimes less than 20 feet from me. I didn't know better, and was raised not to Razz
We'd throw rocks at the two dots of eyes until we hit them sometimes...surprised I am alive.

Don't know how many time as I kid we would be swimming, hear this in the weeds/marshy brushes not far from us and taught "just dont swim over there" and just kept swimming as we assumed the adults knew better.

eh. kind of agree, i rather shoot scum/criminals, but i don't see an issue with sometimes playing a villain like you do in GTA. I have a much harder time with games like Monster Hunter, like trying your best to kill off amazing looking animals that likely is the last of its kind, that's more sickening to me even if i know its pixels, i just hate the idea of it.

the games has anything from very rare animals to larger "monsters". A monster can be anything, a human, an animal, anything that is considered "evil", it's a pretty grey area. Someone can say a Lion or a Wolf is a monster, but to someone else they're not.

The games totally gives off that vibe of rich person going to africa to kill off rare animals as trophies. i think its disgusting. Asians seems to have fixation for that sort of thing too, thinking they have magic properties that they can use etc, but only if the animal is rare.

I understand 30 minute video from DF because they actually provide meaningful content

But why post 1 hour long videos from internet personalities? Laughing

I dont get the reaction videos at all Laughing
Why would I want to watch someone I don't know react in predictable ways to a game neither of us have yet. That all we both know about it is the same thing: the guy is reacting to it is seeing, what I already saw?

Could be my anti-social side contributing to it.
Even with friends its mostly "You see the trailer?" "Yea looks good from it" and about it. Since it doesn't show anything we'd actually be doing in game, to talk about doing it.

Now toss in someone I have no knowledge who they are, or ever talked to myself, talking about a thing I don't care what their opinion on it is (since I won't ever talk to or even play it with). And I see it as: Some stranger in the world has an opinion on the same video I saw? Why...why would I want to watch him film himself saying it?

Not shitting on react in general for those that do. Just it never clicked with me how it became a 'thing' it was literally "Who watches these? Why do they? It does not compute" Laughing

(And to each their own, Im SURE I watch shit people ask: Why do you watch this?? My wife does that to me. Example? Last week I watched an hour and 30 minute documentary of the complex society and 'smarter than any single ant' logistics of army ants battling fire ants in a rainforest. BORED my wife to death.)

I don’t see the point of any trailers or hype when we’re well over a year away from release.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge GTA fan but it’s far too early for this shit.

IGN is still around?
That isnt a sarcastic question, I had no idea they still was. Figured they died to the "Game is 8.5 out of 10, good job devs (we got the check and it didn't bounce!)" illrevelance they was 5-6 years ago.

I dont go in the PC game section very often, if I do it's to skim a post to see if its worth looking into. What people play here and me dont overlap much.
