Anyone else annoyed by the green dots that appear everywhere? I dont know what they are but they flicker here and there, even inside. Might be fire flies or something? But inside Hogwarts ??
Just finished the mission where you get to fly the broom for the first time. Very smooth!
I was thinking though throughout the mission, why can't I control the broom climb and descend with the mouse It would just make much more sense.
I gotta say..performance is shit in this game.. i can run cyberpunk with everyhting maxed out @1080p with DLSS on my laptop just fine, but this game turns into a stutterfest with severe frame drops all over the place...
Thankfully I got a PC but I'm not happy with its performance tbh..
At 1080p, ultra, DLSS set to quality and having all ray tracing enabled my frames still drop below 60 fps in some areas. When playing this game I see that 21-22GB of RAM is used..
It should run much better considering how it looks..MUCH better..

That PCIe 3.0 x8 limitation doesn't help men, but yes the game has obvious performance issues.

FYI, no bullshit I have this running really well on my 3080 10GB without getting stuttering. I get 70-90 FPS (a lot of the benchmarks are flat wrong). These are my settings:
Everything ultra except view distance High.
RT Reflections On
RT Quality - Ultra
(I think RT does a lot more than just reflections)
DLSS on Balanced
Reflex Off (its not necessary in this game).
VSync and Frame Limit - Off (limit it to 120 in control panel).
Motion Blur, Chromatic, Film grain Off.
Nvidia Profile Inspector - Rebar enabled
"AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\engine.ini"

```
[SystemSettings]
r.bForceCPUAccessToGPUSkinVerts=True
r.GTSyncType=1
r.OneFrameThreadLag=1
r.FinishCurrentFrame=0
r.UseVSync=True
r.TextureStreaming=1
r.Streaming.PoolSize=2558 (this is the correct value for 10GB vRAM, 2048 8gb, 4096 16GB)
r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1
r.MaxAnisotropy=8
r.DynamicShadows=True
r.MinShadowResolution=1024
r.MaxShadowResolution=3072
r.ShadowFadeExponent=1.0
Switched RT to Ultra, no FPS change. The RT config is weird e.g only enabling reflections yet the NPC's have vastly improved shadows on their faces, the lighting of the world and bloom is improved, god rays and all that stuff are there. I definitely does a lot more than just RT reflections, and comes with a 40FPS hit, if i disable it the game runs at 85-120+
Yeah I don't get how that rebar setting is going to improve performance unless there's some bug it mitigates (unlikely). if it's not enabled, then the card runs at max performance, why choose to dynamically lower performance?
