I'm going a bit offtopic here, but some ppl are more comfortable with keyboard/mouse, others with a gamepad. Live and let live, if someone likes the $250 xbox more, power to them. If someone prefers to shell $4k on a balls-out top-end PC, once again more power to them. It's a matter of development, as there are great games on both platforms.
It's easy to see that Oblivion has gotten the UI penis over being a 360 title (the conversation interface, for example) but even so, the devs managed to do a great job of compensating for that by making all dialogue voiced over. The game's not even out yet, I don't know why you're bitching about which platform it will be better on.

I agree, but who the hell shells outs 4K on a PC? You'd have to buy each part twice to get this sum... Well apart from Alienware-buyers maybe

I think history has shown us that games developed for both PC and Console turn out to be less than stellar on the PC, unless they bother to actually do something different with the PC development, straight ports suck.
So while the game isn't out yet, there is nothing to indicate that anyone should have an optimistic view of this.
PCs and Consoles play differently and releasing identical games for them is rarely a good thing.

just noticed the clone stoned which i dont know if its a fake or not yet but its all over the networks wonder if someone manged to get a leak of the game or something like that..

and oblivion is called: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion so that's elderscrolls 4

Wow that would suck if you couldn't run HDR and AA with a 7800GTX. I have a 6800GS but wanted a 7800GS, but couldn't afford it. So I won't be able to run AA and HDR for sure. But I hope to not have to deal with 5 load screens in 5 minutes! Uhhgggggg! That cannot be true on the PC only the XSUX360. Really looking forward to this game!

Both things are true, you can't run AA and HDR at the same time on hardly any cards, also there will be alot of loading on both platforms. Just like Morrowind.

Nvidia cards doesn´t support HDR and AA at the same time. THat is becuase when rendering in HDR, you render different parts at a time. The Nvidia cards can´t do AA under those conditions, but x1800 and th X1900 can.

It's not a performance issue but a technology issue. Why should two Nvidia cards suddenly make something impossible possible.

Even one 1800 will be able to do it... and 4 x 7800 not... probably the nextgen nvidia GPUs will be capable of FSAA + HDR...
