I have UHD 620 and MX130 in the laptop, and considering how hot Nvidia gets (hits 75 degrees in less than a minute), I normally use UHD 620 for older and less demanding games. That being said, UHD 620 is perfectly capable for much more than listed, but it's highly recommended that system memory runs in dual-channel mode because graphics performance boost is quite noticeable (esp. if you use complex shader postprocessing in Retroarch).
A comparison:
My Acer laptop is very similar to the one you listed (same i5-8265U CPU, SSD, 8 GB upgraded to 2x8 GB) and both slots of RAM are easily accessible (once you remove the bottom cover).
anything with a 3500u or beyond, maybe wait for the 4500u amd versions q1 next year, currently amd ipu blows intel onboard gfx out of the park , twice as fast as 620
i decided for portability and usability, touchscreen and tablet just is convenient, and i wont really hardcore game when on the go anyway. and its cheaper , mobile gfx cards really are a scam in my book, 300 euro more in most laptops (1050ti laptiops start at 699+) just for a 4y old gfx card is silly
Yes, in the Notebookcheck review it beats Vega 10 because of the 16 GB LPDDR4X-3733 Memory vs. 8GB 2400MHZ Memory for the Vega 10. So there's your speed difference in gaming.
That Acer seems to be using LPDDR4X-3733, whereas I've yet to see an AMD option with anything better than 2666Mhz Memory.
That means the Intel will perform better in most Games, if you specifically need an ultrabook in that pricerange. It probably makes it the fastest iGPU out there.
But, since you've upped the price, you're getting into MX250 territory GPUs in ultrabooks. Which is even faster.

I've gotten in to my head that dedicated gpu adds to heat and thus adds to noise. And I don't need a power house. I want the best and lightest I can go without a dgpu. I think the swift 3 linked above might be just that.
dedicated gpu systems usually have a much better cooling system usually and loads more heatpipes as they will not make a new laptop chassis for every little shitty videocard so if u have a light dedicated card the cooling will be overtuned for it as its made to work and fit for the heavy cards too
dont expect any full hd gaming on recent titles on onboard stuff, u will have to lower res to 720p, we arent there yet, thats possibly for end of 2020 depending of what amd pull off with its 4000u series
older titles work great in vega8-10
doing 100fps+ average on halflife 2 full hd highest settings on this 3500u vega 8 with shitty ram

But with the swift 3 I get lots of harddrive, good cpu, lots of ram. All that I need without the thing I don't need.
This system will be for, at most hollow knight "2", ori: will of the wisp and spelunky 2.
For heavier games I have my main system with rtx 2070 super.
but it has a dedicated card so should have decent cooling ( a very shitty one though with only 2 gigs of ram for that price , bit scammy knowing that the 250 is actually slower then the 150 card )
ur basicly paying 350+ euro and getting a shitty videocard hardware to save 400 grams of weight

Thats fair and in that case, the acer seems to be good choice. I have to say, I dont have much experience with Intel GPU drivers these days, but expect sometimes to have minor issues and obviously alot less driver tweaking, though, I'm sure that wont be necessary on an iGPU anyway.
The Acer is unbeatable, spec wise, thats for sure. Now about the quality of the rest like shell, touchpad, keyboard etc. Its also Acer.

The iGPU can now use LPDDR4X and will be faster than Intels G7 plus you‘re looking at better single and massive boost in multicore performance, if review show it to be true!

Always something better around the corner, I will wait.
