Looking good, hopefully with the two separate games they'll keep the core gameplay close to RE2make's without any diversions in the single-player campaign. An official optional first-person perspective would be welcome as well, though modders will eventually take care of that anyway like they already did in the past (with surprisingly solid results ).

No what? Even assuming they started developing it in the every end of 2018 when RE2 was close to be finished that still make it just barely 2 years of devcycle. It is even less than the dev cycle of RE5->RE6 crap. Dont tell me you dont smell the conveyor here.
It was the single biggest game Capcom ever made.
So there's no similarity at all development-wise with (what you think is) RE3make.
Moving on from that, RE3make takes place in the same city as RE2make, just a few days earlier (in the original it was just 1 day earlier, but they changed this for this remake), why shouldn't it re-use a bunch of assets, the same art style, and so on? It could have been more weird if it didn't.
And that of course speeds up development time.
Also, you don't know when development started. You are making an assumption that it started at the very end of 2018 the earliest. I'm sure we'll hear more on this subject soon in interviews, and you may very well be proven wrong. Let's wait and see.
What I can say though, is that the graphics look quite a bit worse than RE2, there are a lot of "artifacts" in motion and so on, and I'm not sure why this is. But I expect the PC version to help.

- Nemesis won't use just its fists, but it can also arm itself with weapons, such as the rocket launcher from original RE3. Considering the use of plural ("weapons"), I fully expect the minigun from the movie and ORC to make a return. I thought it was a good addition the film made, to make him wield both a minigun and a rocket launcher, because it just shows what enormous strength the dude had!

Imran Khan says he has heard that originally RE2&3makes were going to be one package. But the 2 games kept growing bigger, and as we know RE2 kept getting delayed, so they decided to split them to two games and finish and release RE2make first.
So RE3make has been in development for 3 years already and this is why it's now ready to be released so "soon" after RE2.

It's a game studio formed 2 years ago just outside of Capcom's HQ in Osaka by ex-Capcom and ex-Platinum producer Tatsuya Minami. The studio received funding from Capcom, but it's independent. Employees are, likewise, ex-Capcom and ex-Platinum staff. This is the company's first project.
Minami was a producer on the game that started it all, RE1 (PSX), but also RE0, alongside several other games at Capcom (e.g. Clock Tower 3 and Haunting Ground, which are more or less b-grade RE knock-offs).

Oh no, they've expanded Brad's role in the game it seems. Now I'm going to feel sad when he gets Nemesis'd as opposed to not feeling anything at all for the dude they portrayed as a coward in RE1.
Anyway is Nemesis getting a redesign? I was kinda expecting the trailer to end with him going Staaaars and then a close up of his teeth.
On that note of the wondrous community mods (And the animation X speed videos of course.) I am curious what Nemmy in a bikini would look like following after the Speedo X mod for RE2 Remake.

Course before that happens the community will likely port the entire RE series wardrobe for Jill and at some later point there might be some stuff for Gruff Carlos too.

EDIT: Well for replacements and the way things go though Nemmy's first swap is probably going to be that damn train again.

Well yeah what can I say, looking forward to the game mods or not and hey at least I wasn't the one who created it.
I do like the amount of effort Resident Evil fans put in overall though sure there's the joke type mods and al but outside of character swapping there's everything from gameplay changes to additional content and all out high-definition updates whether it's upscaling or the project for Resident Evil 4 trying to do a near perfect update of the existing assets.
Has been going since Resident Evil 4 at least and thanks to emulator improvements now there's pretty solid upscales for the original RE games and REmake too which is really impressive for the lack of tools and such and the limits for having to use third party utilities.
EDIT: Aha so the round-headed Nemesis is actually also a Mister X replacement I see, thought it was something like a UE4 fan creation or showcase as has been a popular thing for a while now.
Not bad either though X isn't quite on the same level but it's a nice model.
EDIT: Well weird and strange as things go the early adapted works already go beyond anything I could think of so yeah that too.

Originally you met Brad inside "Black Jack" bar, but Outbreak #1 introduced a separate "Jack's bar" (itself potentially inspired by RE3's bar), so the developers might be using that name as inspiration / combining the two.

The skirt or even the boob tube make no sense in a zombie game, unless the plot is literally "holy shit, this huge ass monster attacked me when I was out clubbing!".
Of course it's a highly iconic look but it was a foregone conclusion it would be replaced with something that actually makes sense for a S.T.A.R.S. member to wear.

Of course it doesn't make sense, but it's a zombie game, nothing makes sense there.
I would've preferred if they "tweaked the og outfit" to make more sense for their serious game than a redesign, but it's not a big deal. Plus a woman with a tank top, boots and an leg holster is a bit uninspired I feel. We've seen it in a lot of games in recent years. Even Claire's outfit is somewhat similar.
