Even the security desk at my job informed me of the shit reviews coming in for this... Not a surprise at all. I would have been surprised if it actually went off smooth.
im not shocked, people kept on asking "can i run it" type questions, then when mods cleared out a load of those, made a post about it .... people STILL asked "will my rig run it" lol
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth
The CPU in PS4 and Xbox One isn't much more modern than that.
It still has 8 cores tho, cannot compare to 4 cores. PS4 jaguar CPU is shit at single core performance tho, its like calculator compared to 2500K single core performance wise, new consoles using zen 2 architechture will be massive upgrade for consoles.

Cannot compare since the "Jaguar" is an APU running @ 1.75MHz while PC's have much higher frequencies and more powerful discrete GPU's. Apples and iPhones.

Jaguar CPU is awful, hell an desktop athlon ll x4 is faster, not even talking about phenoms and i5s/i7s, etc. It doesn't matter if there are 8 cores if they are slow as fuck and pretty bad at multitasking because AMDs terrible design back in the days also it reserves cores for OS and such tasks so it never even uses all 8 for a game.
I understand games being online only, but this shit where every developer needs to have their own shop / launcher is retarded, for example Epic Store, plenty of games there i would like to play, but i will not install any more shops / lauchers to my computer.
So, I've decided to give this one a go since my friend at work kindly gave me access to his Epic Shit account, mostly to see how dogshit is the performance on my system and I've had no surprises
My sys specs are a 4690k @stock / GTX 1070TI / 12GB RAM (no Dual-Channel because 2 RAN slots are fucked on my mobo), all game settings are at the default values.
So far I'm plagued by the same annoying bug as atf300:

i seem to have minimized or gotten rid of the i5 related freezing with this process lasso limiter described here .
Tried ProcessorLasso with several settings limiting my CPU (from 98% down to 90%) and I still have constant freezing, sometimes it lasts for more than 5 seconds (but setting to somewhere between 90-94% seemed to help). I'm running on the lastest GeForce driver without all the Geforce Experience cancer and no other programs besides MSI AB.
I think this is one of the worst ports I've even seen (can even compare it to Batman AK), my VRAM stays below 5GB all times and my RAM sits around 7-8GB. I've been monitoring my CPU usage and the stutter/freezing occurs whenever it hits 100%, funny thing is that most of the time my CPU stays around 40-70% and out of the fucking nowhere it shoots to 100% for a second and backs down (that's when the freezes happen), never seen anything like this so far.
Another thing is, that I can't run this thing on DX12. Switching from VULKAN to DX12 makes the game refuse to launch, any fix for this?
Well, I'm glad I didn't bought this considering it's current state, what a fucking mess
Jesus RDRO feels so much worse compared to single just because they sped everything up, every action, movement, increased responsiveness(ugh!) which lead to a significant drop in animation quality and feeling immediately...Why would they do this?
Also, thought you'd have a much finer degree of control over movement speed by using gamepad while still aiming with a mouse, but alas - still the same problems, either walking or running like a retard...
With a solid crack it might run better (no online crap using the cpu).
Hahahaha sure it will
I also highly doubt it, this feels like Ghost Recon Shitpoint (BETA, atleast) where I've had similar freezing behaviour whenever the CPU hit 100% as a result of poor coding from lazy devs + all the RSGL and all the extra bloating lmao. Here's hoping some aditional patching might save this game's performance (although highly unlikely too)...
But, on a side note: the game looks really good. I've rented on PS4 back on release and it definitely looks better than the console version and the plethora of graphics options is a very nice "feature" (since most devs are too lazy to implement anything other than basic graphic options nowdays, so it's a feature ), I do hope this get the a propper attention down the road and hopefully by the time it arrives on steam
