It's not like you are forced to patch the game if you don't want to.

GOG Galaxy version is great in that regard. I can chose any of 4 previous versions to rollback to, if needed.

Probably the easiest puzzle in the game, seriously. You never played that water pipe game before? Very Happy

But yes it has bugged for multiple people apparently, I was lucky enough that it worked just fine.
It looks like your blood doesn't like like it's blessed all the way? Remember reading some people having that problem, bless the blood before you start the puzzle, worked for me atleast.

The eternal damage loop was achieved with 2 characters, an undead + anything. You cast soul link between the 2 characters (and maybe some other spell too?) and then the .... necro spell which prevents the character from dying for 2 turns, and the undead must have the talent which deals damage when he dies.

Something like this Razz

There was a video where someone killed the troll from act 2. It took like 5 minutes though Razz I think in the end he was dealing 1 damage to the troll N times per second (10-20).

Its beyond bugged. 1st, 2nd and 3rd try the water just stopped at block and didn't flow further. Had to reload from way back. 4th attempt blessed blood stopped being blessed after a block.
Took me way to long to do cuz of bugs.

Seems it wasn't a "good" bug, but more of an annoyance. Seeing how the performance crippled.

*Summons a little reminder*
It's practically impossible to keep the thread spoilers-free (for the obvious reasons) but I have to ask you guys to put at least the crucial encounters/parts of the story inside a spoiler, I've been receiving some messages about it and indeed a bit more attention would be nice for all those who browse the thread and/or have just started playing the game. I've been adding some manually, though it's not very doable Razz (would end up ruining my future Divine experience as well). Thanks!

Game is fantastic i'm still going strong and i don't even like WRPGs a lot usually.
95 metacritic score, 94% Steam score i don't think there is a lot to complain here apart from personal preferences.

Only played for about 3 hrs, but I was worried that may happen. I lost my motivation in the first one too. It sort of wore me down, difficult to explain. Sad

I cleared maybe 70% of Reapers Coast so far.

My few gripes:
- Dialogues are often not really engaging and i tend to skip them often.
- Also choices in dialogues are often just retarded. For example most dialogues with (probably) hostile NPCs give the impression that you can manipulate them in some way. But in 90% of the cases it will result in a fight anyways.
- They really should have implement global scaling of rewards and enemies. For example in Repears Coast i started doing quests in the west side of the region. Then went to the east side and i was like 3+ levels above the enemies. Which resulted in no real challenge anymore. Also doing the quests in this case was mostly boring, because i wouldn't get a nice reward anyways.
- After a nice start with the story at the second island, it now is rather quite again. The main story so far is just so not-captivating, wtf.

The only thing i still very much enjoy is the tactical combat.

Often when you get have somewhat edgy options to chose from, it often ends with the partner not wanting to talk to you anymore or going hostile.

So most of the time i'm forced to play the good asshole. It sucks. Embarassed

I agree on the scaling stuff but why didn't you use the mods i posted? it fixes this and makes the game a lot more enjoyable.

Not sure, but i guess because it's unclear how those kind of mods will fare in the late game and might flip over balance completely.

Also i don't think that mod will adjust the rewards and their levels or?

If it's the same one as earlier it reduces vitality boosters by a ton which in turn scales down everything and doesn't need to be fine adjusted for any particular point in the game.

Going by the XML examples there were even set level intervals where the characters vitality was boosted to hell which really screwed up game balance especially late-game where upgrading new equipment every level was near mandatory or you'd fall behind big time because other stats for some reason also calculated from vitality scores.

From the discussion around that it seems like a really strange decision and "fixing" the issue by reducing the vitality scale to something reasonable doesn't break anything and might in fact just improve the game unless they're directly targeting players looking for 4-digit damage output and such stuff.

Works with a existing game too but can't be removed after you've saved or well the mod can be removed but the stats won't be re-scaled to the original values whereas they will be scaled down to the modded values when you add said mod.

Also breaks achievements as with most third party add-on's for the game but Steam has SAM so you could do it that way. Very Happy
(Not really a option for people who are hardcore about achievement earning though, I know that much at least.)

There are some new versions and a fix to change the scaling if you want now.

Isn't that the role playing part? A companion doesn't like you anymore and leaves. How is that bad and how are you forced into anything?
