after the avatar touches down on mission point (not on the territory)?
You mean the Avenger? Actually I'm guessing you mean Firebrand, which is what flies to the mission node.
Is this the Codex version? I've only had one random crash (and one endless alien activity bug) in the retail version in about 47 hours.
Yep that's what I meant. I have the codex version and unfortunately this bug continues...after I skipped yet another mission it now doesn't let me advance game since it crashes on all missions...nuked by codex or?
Yes, I'm very well aware about this. However, I personally find it too frustrating to play. I know that with a 99% probability there's also 1% that won't hit it. But when it's happening 3 out of 4 times I do not find it enjoyable. I know many of you enjoy it as-is, but it's just not working for me. Which is a shame, as it's a nice game in the other aspects.
The biggest problem with this games RNG is the fact there are hidden mechanics influencing to hit chance.. to me that is fucking stupid > why even show the player a hit percentage when its influenced by hidden numbers, consecutive misses and other stupid shit I dont get to see.
You are right as well, high percentage misses are much more frequent than probability should dictate, retarded hidden mechanics.
Omg will you stop with the whole conspiracy theory bullshit and read what DCB posted.
On all difficulties, except Legendary, only the player gets bonuses. So if it says 60% its never ever lower in reality for the player. NEVER. If you want completely no help play legendary (the help on veteran is very small anyway). So just please stop with this "hidden modifiers".
As for "4 95% shots in a row missing" yeah no. Video please.
How do you know 30 - 60% hit too often? First i'd ask why are you even taking 30% shots, because i can guarantee you that if you do that often you will not find much success. There's so much ways to get around RNG or at least try to make it work in your favor.... good positioning, explosives (especially early game, use them nades, no RNG on them), not counting on that one 70% shot to save you. Sure sometimes it goes all wrong, but that's kinda the charm.

They presumably did, that's why the bitching changed from "missing multiple 95% shots in a row, omg rigged" to "hitting multiple 30% shots in row, omg rigged".
The big city maps they use for certain Lost missions seem to chug a bit, especially during the landing intro and any time you are doing a long range sniper shot. I've found it to be pretty smooth other than that. Certainly a marked improvement from the base game. Although I have to laugh at all the praise for the reduced load times. I think that is mostly a placebo. They just moved the load to a black screen, which still often takes 30 or so seconds.
I don't understand, does "War of the chosen" have a new campaign or what's the deal?i installed the game and it starts from the beginning .Is it the same campaign from X-COM 2 but with added soldiers and stuff?

It's the same as with the expansion for the first game. It's integrated into the main game's campaign. Adding alot of new stuff and changing alot of the old.
It seems a bit too weird some times. Im enjoying the game, still playing on Vet and had a mission yeh .. My 4 guys against 2 advent soldiers and 1 sectoid after cleanly killing previous 2 tougher groups.
One of my guys gets shot for about 3 dmg (out of 10hp), he panicks ... then his squad mate on the other side of the map panicks because he likes her or i dunno why. Then my other guy gets wounded for 3 dmg, so HE goes berserk.
Quick question. In regards to the WOTC release.
Is it possible to use player created Mods with an isodemo?
Due to the way they work im guessing Steam Workshop is out of the window.
Does this mean I have to wait for something to appear on the Nexus and do it from there, or is there someway to manipulate stuff from the Workshop to work? (if so a quick tut would be awesome xD)
Well i'm officially in god mode now. All the chosen weapons, team A has every useful skill in the game, team B has most of the useful skills, i have 3 slots on weapons, extra armor and most of my guys have level 2 bonds.
the best u can hope for is that xcom 2 gets down to 5 bucks , doubt the expansion will be lower then this price any time soon untill maybe summer next year. Xmass maybe 25% off or 33% for the expansion which is still higher then this price.
question for u guys who have it, do u play with FXAA or MSAA, im suprized maximum gfx uses FXAA and seems more blurry
even more suprized im getting 33+ fps on maximum on my dated 680gtx 2gb
Considering the nearly catastrophe at the beginning of the game, were advent and the chosen felt unmatched and overpowered, now, after killing the first chosen and avoiding further progress in the main story for a better gear preparation, the game turned into a pancake I have the counter of the avatar at 1, which didn't happen in the previous installment.
Also a vast team of soldiers somewhat overpowered. The "heroes" or special new units also feels overpowered at times, but I feel the Reaper does a crap damage.
I wonder if on the next stage (after the complete of the codex research) will be different...
The Reaper is not a damage dealer. It's a scout. You should get the skill that allows it to remain hidden on kills, and only use it to finish off enemies with a few hit points left.
