Thanks. That's really short. I might play it next week, then.

Played and disliked... really short and it still felt too long. Just boring and repetitive.
UE4 is doing all the work here

I'm a bit disappointed too. The game feels a bit cheap:
Controls clunky
Animations are weird sometimes.
Also most of the time you just wander around, nothing happens.
Inside is sooo much better and professional than this.
The trailer they showed us where you meet the cook and the room with the shoes are
probably the highpoints of the game.

I've been putting the weekend to good use and finished it as well after dinner (fitting theme in the game too, only..creepier). For me this is a great little gem, the wonderful gloomy art, unsettling atmosphere coupled with the hide 'n seek platforming formed a superb combo.
It's definitely on the very very short side though (went through it in less than 3 hours), and the final part didn't manage to be as engaging as the rest of the game *shakes fist* - including the (abrupt) ending, which is a shame. The puzzles and platforming are always rather straightforward, but well integrated, escaping from the grotesque characters and using environmental tricks feels constantly good.
Overall it's not on the same level as the memorable Inside (or Limbo), but it's still a pleasant short experience that is definitely worth an isoplaythrough* in my opinion, if only for the fantastic atmosphere alone. (If I had to rate it, it would be a 7+/10)
*waiting for a mighty bundle

I liked this better than inside and limbo, both good games but this was more enjoyable for me, maybe wasnt in a good mood when playing inside I remember getting frustrated more than having fun.

Likewise, that one looks incredibly captivating but it's still sitting in the endless backlog sack due the delayed pirate bears convention. Lost...but not forgotten xD

Funny how people expect a game that makes sense and have a meaning when it's called little nightmares.. dreams are as abstract as it possibly gets.
will try later today, not expecting something amazing though..
