There was a weapon carry limit in Bioshock Infinite? I don't remember that but maybe it was one of the changes of the "1999" mode.
(I know you can carry every "plasmid" in that mode instead of swapping between them but I don't remember how weapons were handled.)

In addition to the Sky-Hook, Booker can only carry two weapons at a time, and so will have to drop one of his current guns if he picks up another.

Most of the time when I'd get low on ammo my trusty sidekick would throw me another satchel of rockets, so much that I'm using the rpg as my primary weapon
Yeah the early footage of the game indicated it was quite different from how the final release version was, unfortunate that certain things were scaled back or removed but I guess it happens to most any game although usually there's not much info on what was changed throughout development.
Since Bio1 was a GOTY for me, I was soooo happy when I watched the videos of infinite, and when the game finally got released....it was such a dissapointment.
I never watched trailers for it so I missed all the bullshots etc. I remember loving the set pieces and powers but forgetting all about it once it got uninstalled

Quality of Life Update
This week's update features various quality-of-life improvements, including:
Account linking option added in-game
The addition of a new Launcher which includes a Store to purchase new content
"quality of life" update adding a launcher to an old game
In May Epic gave Infinite as a gift, since then it already brought the 2K launcher. At least it did not require creating a 2K account to run the game, unless now with this "quality of life" they have made it mandatory.
