What major issues are you talking about? I finished Valkyrie Profile 2 a while ago and only remember the glitched forest area i used Gsdx-cutie: http://www.emucr.com/search/label/GSdx-Cutie?&max-results=12
a unofficial modified gsdx plugin in which it works to fix that but as far as i know these days it should also work in opengl mode in the regular gsdx (at least the wiki says so: http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/Valkyrie_Profile_2:_Silmeria)and apart from that there are no major glitches.

Playing a bit of Twilight Princess HD in Cemu atm so far it's pretty much perfect only the music is a bit screwy sometimes and yes i could play the game in Dolphin with mods but i honestly prefer the look of the HD version the texture packs for TP out there are pretty much all incoherent and crappy looking thrown together trash i tried them all.
I heard they will add Amiibo support in the next build dunno why something like that would be a priority for them...

Just a few more months till we get to play Xenoblade at nearly stable 60fps then i guess.
So Much Win

Just 30fps but being able to upscale would be nice too though.

Damn it still makes this horrid noises , stopped testing it since i almost got a heart attack last time i forgot to disable sound and my sound system was on full volume Laughing
Ah well played a bit around with the new version and so far it broke more then it fixes for me pretty much every game i tried had new bugs it didn't have bevore, the only exception was Mario 3d land it seems to be pretty much perfect now since the frame drops in the circus stages and such are fixed.

And here I am wondering... could it be possible to emulate SuperFX with higher rendering resolution and framerate/speed? Like when you execute Shadow of The Colossus in PCSX2 with a decent rig. I mean, they are polygons and vectors, right?

EDIT: this thread is PRE-PCSX2 coding, but sums up perfectly why apparently can't be done Sad http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=32156&sid=e1ab3eb37409216b9d7101ed199c5f95#p32156

You mean upresing SuperFX? It's possible theoretically, just difficult.
No one really tried to do it as far i know.
Here is a good explanation:

From what I understand the SuperFX is a custom RISC processor, not a full graphics accelerator. The games are using software rendering, not hardware accelerated rendering. So you can't just use the 3D scene info and output a higher resolution 3D scene. The emulator just emulates the SuperFX as a processor.

So unless I am mistaken, the actual renderer of the game needs to be hacked and of course the emulator has to emulate the SuperFX at higher speed to cope.

Another game goes "Playble" state on RPCS3... Caherine:

From Emunewz:

ssshadow wrote:
I really think the game is playable from beginning to end, multiple levels and parts of the game were tested, including cutscenes (in engine and pre rendered), gameplay, music, saving & loading... There are some graphical issues and it's a bit slow, but it works!

Tested with: The latest master version, no strange hacked builds or anything.

Settings:
OpenGL 1280x720
PPU Decoder: Interpreter (fast)
SPU Decoder: Recompiler (ASMJIT)
XAudio

From my impressions,There are ongoing efforts to make games like Persona 5 going in-game.. and there is evidently nice progress on RPCS3 3d's games...

I am having my hopes that trough 2017 we will start to see the more heaviest games going in-game as well... GOW3

Smile

Things will get interesting soon ... I love how the emulation scene seems to be so active the past few years. It had a bit of a lull before.

I started playing Xenoblade on my 3DS but the low resolution and fiddly camera controls (that little rubber knob is a pain to use during fights) put me off playing more so I checked out the Wii version and the latest Dolphin emulator combined with my Bluetooth NES30 Pro controller and it's brilliant - looks amazing, runs butter smooth and the gamepad is ten times better than the 3DS.

Damn Xenoblade is at a constant 30fps now for me even in the most demanding areas (i5 6600k no oc, gtx970) still has some minor gfx glitches and looks way too bright but we are getting there.
