					| I feel like there was a new show among these lines recently but cannot remember the name?
Regardless, can you guys recommend some tv series akin to the mighty Sopranos?

This
It has a more serious tone overall (almost macabre at times), and a different structure since it's meant to be authentic - in a good way (straight to the point/without the glamour), but there are definitely some similarities. Anyway, I highly recommend it.

					| i liked the dirtyshitty atmosphere of peaky blinders, but the writing on that show is just.. way too simplistic to keep watching
watched the entire first season because my sister made me, and there was no satisfactory payoff
all the writing WAS as simple as i suspected it had been until that point

Yeah.. the writing is the weakest part of this tv series.

 1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB

 2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)
