Its the steam version DLC packed in rar's. Extract put in folder and play.

If its the patch you already have it and if you need xdelta only for hearths of stone i can send link just for it. (from v1.12 to v1.21)

Damnit... I spent all of my gold in HoS on runewright and then I never ever used it.
I have the choice between my normal character, a level 38 well-equipped Geralt who wasted his wealth and now has 2000 coins left.
...Or I can create a new level 34, B&W only, who comes with 20 000 coins.
I'm tempted to say "fuck it" and make a new character, but I have a bit of pride in my own Geralt. And I like what his armor looks like.

I guess I'll keep my own dude and hope that I one day feel like replaying the main campaign (haven't so far, dunno why, loved it but hate replaying it) and then keep my money on that run.

Now that this last DLC is out it looks like I can finally start my play though. Any must have mods to run or keep an eye out for once they get updated to the latest patch? Also for those that have played through Witcher 3 a few times is there a good set of starting choices from Witcher 2 to maximize the amount of quests or is it pretty balanced no matter your choices. I know I went Roche's path in Witcher 2 saving Triss so I know some of those choices are easier but just wondering if I should chose something else or just ignore the choices all together for a fuller story.

Heh yeah I only paid the runewright to turn my ursine armor into light armor. I didn't even use any runewords for any weapons, didn't think it was worth it. Still that was pretty expensive so I only have 12k orens right now for those improvements. No idea yet how much they cost.

Is it just me or graphics-wise the new area looks worse than the original game? Especially lighting..Just got to the large village or something where you can find the arena (the one near Corvo Bianco).. Laughing

The character models look great though

I have no idea how someone found this trick, but thanks!
I'll do this and get back the gold I wasted. I won't go over 40k, I'll stick to what I realistically had.

He just didn't properly configure the game, or he's running some shitty AMD drivers with effects disabled, or he's a graphic-snob, or something else.

It's brighter and more saturated though that's by design, I thought it looked pretty good but I'm using a environment mod that's in early beta and currently makes the main game look a bit like toothpaste so... Razz

Hm...I thought the new Grandmaster witcher gear would be top tier, but it's only level 41 stuff and I've already found things better than it. The set bonuses (at least on Wolven) are worthless. Who needs three oils on a sword at once?

The expansion is really good so far. Lots of new challenging enemies and interesting quests (and some of which have funny moments). Not sure about the house yet, it seems like it's just going to be a money sink for little benefit. I don't think the graphics look worse, in fact the foliage looks way better. The yellow tint is kind of ugly though.

@randir14

I still wear Griffins armor (stamina regen+signs damage etc) I wonder if grandmaster Griffin armor is considerably better than the one I got..

In the beginning with the lady in the cellar there is a secret i guess (according to the minimap):

Anyone know how to get through there? Can't destroy it with Aard, Ignis or sword slases.

I really dislike these comical piss-like colors too in the DLC.
Performance is perfect so far though with my 970. Everything maxed. Just Shadows one level down and Hairworks disabled. With Hairworks on i got ~5fps less, while it didn't look better at all.
