I DONT EVEN REMEMBER HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!
almost died on my first fight of the new dlc because i dont remember the mechanics, couldnt remember how to heal, couldnt remember what potions do what, didnt even know if there was a blocking mechanic or a reposting mechanic, couldnt remember any of my strategies, or even half of the tools i have or how to use them.. did i have a bomb equiped? how would i even have thrown it? i couldnt remember if my crossbow and my bombs were used with the same key, or if throwables had a dedicated button...
still thouh...
the new area looks gorgeous, so vibrant... and im looking forward to a really intriguing story!

Now that this last DLC is out it looks like I can finally start my play though. Any must have mods to run or keep an eye out for once they get updated to the latest patch? Also for those that have played through Witcher 3 a few times is there a good set of starting choices from Witcher 2 to maximize the amount of quests or is it pretty balanced no matter your choices. I know I went Roche's path in Witcher 2 saving Triss so I know some of those choices are easier but just wondering if I should chose something else or just ignore the choices all together for a fuller story.

after so many patches youd think they would finaly fix the ui for 16 10 aspect ratio monitors....nope, still have to do it manually
I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes..

Is it just me or graphics-wise the new area looks worse than the original game? Especially lighting..Just got to the large village or something where you can find the arena (the one near Corvo Bianco)..
The character models look great though
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Palace Gardens area(the main quest).. I'm getitng drops to 45+ (especially at night) fps here.. it depends on what I'm looking at...1920x1200, all ultra, hair disabled.. The first srea it happened.
Damn.. and my vidoe driver crashes hard here....for the first time.. this OC was stable in all previous areas, and all other games, benchmarks.. lol.. I guess I\ll have to reduce it..

Hm...I thought the new Grandmaster witcher gear would be top tier, but it's only level 41 stuff and I've already found things better than it. The set bonuses (at least on Wolven) are worthless. Who needs three oils on a sword at once?
The expansion is really good so far. Lots of new challenging enemies and interesting quests (and some of which have funny moments). Not sure about the house yet, it seems like it's just going to be a money sink for little benefit. I don't think the graphics look worse, in fact the foliage looks way better. The yellow tint is kind of ugly though.

The bank quest
@randir14
I still wear Griffins armor (stamina regen+signs damage etc) I wonder if grandmaster Griffin armor is considerably better than the one I got..
