exactly.
it was an absolute success.
splinter cell hasn't been cracked/properly cloned till today.
no reason why they shouldn't do it like that again.
let us all just hope dt-pro will be out by then.

... that is the gay-est sounding press release I've ever read in my life. While I was reading it, I was imagining seeing it as a movie trailer, with the narrator trying to make a bunch of lame-ass things sound awesome.
I.e.,
"...introducing an unprecedented double agent concept..."
"...revolutionary double agent concept immerses players in the world of international espionage more completely than ever..."
"Veteran agent Sam Fisher is back. But he's never faced an enemy like this before." <-- the sinister 'Clogged Toilet'!
"...experience the relentless tension and gut-wrenching dilemmas of life as a double agent."
"Discover the tension of being a double agent: Use actual tactics employed by today's real-life double agents to sabotage the terrorists' plans." <-- yeah, this game is going to make me think, "Damn... being a double agent sucks! I never want to be a double agent when I grow up!"
"Explore a branching storyline with multiple endings: Your choices have an impact on how the story and game play unfolds." <-- Yeah, this hasn't been done before. What will be more interesting is how Ubisoft will fuck it up somehow.
"...hiding behind the dust or smoke - and even skydiving." <-- Skydiving?! Yippee!! I'm buying this one for SURE now!
Ubisoft must be spending too much on StarForce to have hired a decent writer for this press release. Way to go Ubisoft, sounds like a b-rated action flick to me.
dyn IP addys, subnet & mac spoofs, email routing, and if all else fails, wi-fi. banned? lol, its more like brb. =p
