Then may I suggest rewatching Episodes I-III. You'll find more of that dancing, I mean fighting in those movies.
I'll rewatch them anytime (at least 2 and 3) over this terrible reenacting called Episode 7.
Mr. Lucas I am humbled you joined our boards!
How is it going? Happy new year!
I'll PM you about some financial troubles I have if you don't mind...
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Yep, I think they spend a lot of time on those reviews, so there isn't an actual review, but there's a video of them discussing it.
He sums it up around 37 minutes in. Basically that it feels more like Star Wars with less of the dumb stuff. Of course they're going to scrutinize the shit out of it.
One thing is that is doesn't explain a whole lot. It not cool if you have to read a book(s) to understand the movie fully.

Ohh, I really like their stuff and follow it regularly but I just set that 'review' aside until I watched the film myself but then I just forgot about it until you mentioned it.

Boyega has read a ep8 script and I guess it was 'ok'...
Probz old, but cool detail about Rey in EP7, that I'd wish I'd known just from watching it:
Spoiler:
The script emphasizes the fear felt within Ren during his battle with Rey, noting Ridley's character nearly killed him before she realized she was standing "on a greater edge than even the cliff — the edge of the dark side." As such, it's clear Rey also feels the pull of the dark side. In fact, the novelization says she hears an "amorphous" voice telling her to kill Ren, which, according to the audio book, appears to be >Supreme Leader Snoke<.
-
The young lady heard voices telling her to kill people. She snapped out of it though. Didn't know shit about that from watching the movie. She could have killed Ren when he was on the ground hadn't the planet gotten blown up. Also, the counter mind-invasion trick she did on Kylo Ren was some dark stuff, too.
On Finn
Spoiler:
I think we'll find him coming out of one of these.
I don't think he'll go full Robocop on us for Ep8 like some suggest.
I didn't liked it. It was a far better movie compared to the prequels but it has many parts that I didn't get. Rey for instance and all of her power. From where? Ren and that lightsaber with horns. Why? Finn and all his Rambo doing and final motivations. The only one? Really? He should have died too (for me, he was the Jar Jar of this one). Plus a retard character as Ren killing one of the icons of the movie. The whole story with the Millenium Falcon. Really? Care to explain a little more from the whereabouts of the Empire getting so much power again? Solo, Leya and Chewie are the highlights... again. Its like the new actors are all coming from the same derp acting school. (Nonetheless, the actress in Rey role I found she did a VERY interesting acting).
If they revealed that she was Obi-wan's Force spirit all along, I wouldn't be surprised.
For the prequels, there is only George to blame for being too obsessed with Star Wars and his ranch that he totally stopped tapping his hot wife so she ended up cucking him and divorcing him.
The acting was reasonably good, I kinda liked the main characters although they made Ray too much of a tomboy and then immediately powerful, weird, there was no buildup. Finn had some good humour in his lines but the romance didn't persuade me at all. There was no romance in the air and Ray was not presented as an easily romanceable woman at all.
In some ways it felt like a rehash of the good ol' star wars tropes from the original trilogy, so much plagiarism that I could fill a page. They probably played it safe.
I was expecting more from the jedi fights. Even Finn randomly used a lightsaber properly ... weird. The fake death was just another cliche to add to a mountain of them.
Bottom line is that the KOTOR games are still far above the new movie story-wise and those The Old Republic trailers captured the epicness and mayhem of jedi/sith duels. The movies seem like fan efforts in comparison
Also, I was not convinced that princess Leia could be the leader of anything other than a book club and that Han Solo and his furry friend would be able to survive so many years by being a bullshitter.
I was not convinced that someone easy going like Finn would just up and leave, they are brainwashed aren't they? He can't shoot civilians, are you shitting me?
I was also not convinced about the power of the Empire/First Order after their defeat. Reminded me of Mass Effect's Cerberus ... endless troops out of nowhere? Who pays for that?
Source: I am replaying the KOTOR games for the third time and have seen all 7 movies. The first 6 twice. So I know what I am talking about without being indictrinated.

You should watch Clone Wars and Rebels series, also much better than this movie. Tons of great characters (again much better than here) and they arent afraid of doing stuff that hasnt already been made. It can take a while to "get" the graphic style though, some of it i like and some of it i find somewhat irritating (not to the degree that i stopped watching though).
2d Clone Wars was amazing. But they did fuck over Grievous by building him up to be this bad ass and he proceeds to disappoint everyone by coughing a lot, spinning, then dying.
Also I hate how being lazy and uninspired is now called "playing it safe".
There are some episodes and stories in 3D clone wars that i think was really amazing, i usually find the clones pretty boring, but fortunately there's enough of other characters and stories.

So can we agree that Rey is Luke's daughter? The flashback pretty much gave it away along with the saber being her fathers, grandfather and her being drawn to it. But they may take it from expanded universe and she ends up being Kylo Ren's sister.

Nope we can't agree it's a done thing because that's perhaps exactly what they want you to be thinking so that they surprise you.
It's the most sane theory for sure though.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Ok, maybe bad joke. But maybe it will happen, it sure would make everyone go crazy on the internet.
Edit: And someone here said that Rey will find something out after training with Luke that will push her to the dark side, maybe it will happen.
On the first Also it's Disney so no.
On the second I said it
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

Gonna give it a rewatch when it comes to BluRay. Then I will qualify it... so far, the more I think of it, the more I conclude that Star Wars franchise is an epic one, but that the first 3 movies will be iconic ones and the rest, just add ons.
How did you want him to look, like all scarred and corrupted by the dark side?
He was a good guy (Leia & Han's son), turned, and trying his damnedest to become a dark side champion... which apparently is tough for him to do, and he was told killing his father would solidify his place in the dark. Apparently while dueling Rey, he was fucked up both physically and mentally by just having killed him.
