I'm guessing it's some press build or something? Meh I'll wait for the official res anyway, can still do a few DLC quests Very Happy

We'll know tomorrow I guess, won't be too difficult to do a comparison on the files and see if anything differs but I suspect the DLC has been done for some time now and won't be changed further unless some bugs are discovered after release in which case it might get patched when the next game update hits. Smile
(1.10 added all the terrain - but it does not contain any DLC assets. - and the DLC files add the buildings and characters on top of it, looks a bit weird in some areas in the game that you can actually already reach without using the debug camera when you see flattened terrain and floating vegetation and other objects from the base game but the buildings themselves are missing.)

EDIT: Some of the new equipment is nice and the new area(s) are interesting to explore but I'm really looking forward to the second of these bigger DLC and actually seeing entirely new locations if the rumors about it are true. Smile
(Kovir was it?)

Whats the best way to get the Expansion Pass for Steam, region-free? Looks like it costs 17€ in Canada, are there any cheaper places?
And any Canadians here? Cool Face

Question guys: I'm level 30 and I have the quest Final Preparations. Do you recommend starting the expansion or finish the main game first?

Finish the main game first. I'm level 35. Started the Expansion. Enemies are level 30+ but still tough. And that frickin' toad boss fight. Laughing Make sure you have good gear too.

Thanks! In my playthrough didn't dive too much on the witcher gear and crafting. I must have some good gear though because I didn't have any problems so far with the difficulty (second toughest selected).

I found a new "guarded treasure" area in the expansion that has a reference to one of the quests in Witcher 1.

The easiest way is to pay a visit to a certain well known bay, if you get my meaning.

The expansion is damn good...it's more than simply new quests on the old map. The whole north eastern area is completely redesigned with all new terrain, dungeons and villages. There's new stuff like item diagrams in a foreign language that have to be deciphered, new armor and weapons, new monster and human enemies (and some humans use polearms now), monster nests with new loot, etc.

Fucking CDPR idiots. With 1.10 i get the same annoying bug i got at the release back then (two times in about 1.5 hours): Can't do any action during combat suddenly. I have to escape combat to being able to fight again. Which was not able just now because the fucking Alghoul didn't stop following me -> Had to die.

Also i get another annoying bug just now: During combat sometimes sword hits make no sound. After googling this bug seems to exist since some months already and i found no fix for this.

CDPR:

The addon itself is pretty good so far, doing the sidequests first. And the combat is pretty challening with level 35. But that could be, because i didn't play for so long. Very Happy

For anyone getting long load times after deleting d3d11.dll, try only manually loading your saves instead of selecting "load most recent save". That's according to this guy:
