300ms always for no reason but drm is stupid. Other than pandering for noobs what does d3 do better than LOD. Skillsystem sucks, attributes sucks, itemization sucks, cinematics worse, story worse, bosses scripted horrible worse, mods none / worse, randomization worse it just goes on. You can't patch that stuff..
Skill system is my fave after so much debating pre release, so genius new exciting skill system =  just pick any skill at anytime (insert laughing Spaniard). For me d3 is the most disappointing game i have ever played, unlimited money, time, resources and talent = not even daikatana failed to that proportion.

i think most people have a very selective memory when it comes to D2/LOD
It's not about "defending" D3 or anything, but just a little reminder what D2 mostly was (especially with LOD). Add to that, i still loved D2 and played it extensively for many years (like 7+ and then every now and then again).
Anyway :
Story :
Yeah ... what story ? You run after Diablo and come across his Brothers and basically everything he did and does failed. Think about it. Diablo was absolute fail. Anyway, the story really was never anything to write home about, let alone to play the game for it (once you paid maybe some attention, but not even the first time really).
Skills :
Before synergies, the skill system was really fucked up. Basically you just spend 1 point in each skill needed to eventually reach the level 24/30 skill you would use for the rest of the game. And also it meant that everyone and their mother used the same skills. Come on, either frozen orb or firewall ...
Basically each class had a set of 2-3 skills to choose from and max out and that was it.
The came synergies and it got somewhat better, but not that much. The defined skill sets were still there, they just changed a bit. Fireball became attractive and blizzard etc. It added some builds, sure, but marginally.
Items/Loot :
D2 Classic was the best itemization/loot wise. At that point, Uniques were rarely every useful, with a very few exceptions (and sets even less, since they didn't had any hidden extras iirc).
Other then a few uniques like tarnhelm (+1 skill, +x mf%), soj's, silks and a few more. Also uniques only dropped as normal items, not exceptional or elite versions.
But it didn't matter. Rare items were where it was. They were truly unique. It was almost impossible to see (let alone find) the same rare twice. Of course they didn't all have different stats, obviously, but chances that you would see the same one twice (above a certain level anyway, low level items had a bigger chance of being the same).
Anyway, rare items were actually useful, but also just "so far". Basically it came down to maxing "one of those 2 or 3 possible skill sets" and finding that 1 rare per slot and that was basically it. After that it was just a huge grind to reach 99 (which almost nobody ever did in d2 classic ...if ever ... at least not pre-bot game era lol).
But at leat it has proper random pvp. I give it that.
Oh and then comes LOD and suddenly it all became about getting that BiS unique for each slot. Again, not much of a diversion. There was not much of a choice really at the end.
And then with a patch or 2 later, Uniques got replaced by BiS Runewords ... and the same story again.
At least D2 Classic had (almost) no "proper" BiS items.
Anyway, you can compare this to d3 if you want. I on purpose didn't.

Indeed. Even after 3 years they still making content for the Game. And the Game is good and far from dead. And those waiting times are for the PTR only btw.

can't wait for the 2.3 patch. Tried it on ptr and it seems rather fun. I've to say, i am quite happy and impressed with blizzards work on this game. The content they keep adding and balancing .. impressive.

anyone willing to powerlevel a hc char to 70 when there is the final week of xp bonus ? should take like 10 mins or so unless they fixed all the poerlvl spots. Mine ripped at 61 arly in the season and didnt bother anymore haha

My co-worker really wanted someone to play with (he's a super cool guy) locally who isn't an idiot so asked me if he bought me reaper of souls if I'd pick it back up and said fuck it why not.
So far all I can say is with Reaper of Souls the game is a large amount better than vanilla D3, I've logged a ridiculous amount of hours in the last week or so.
Still a lot about the game I think is pure retarded and can't believe they haven't changed it yet but whatever, I'm having fun with it now.
If they don't bring back the fucking druid I'm going to snap someone's neck.

Lost my sader due to a blackscreen bug that was introduced "for me" with the new patch. Never had that before. Stopped playing afterwards. I just don't want to bother with softcore but also not with losing shit due to bugs or disconnects.
