Even worse, that page shows 8 DLCs... yet my DLC folder on the Steam W3 has THIRTEEN DLCs instead.

Yeah you have to do a store search on Witcher 3 to see all related content like the new Triss outfit, strange.

http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_5_9__12&term=witcher+3

EDIT: And on that note here's a strange floating bush near some distant isle in Skellige and it's somewhat odd flying birds.

When I play on my 1080p machine with lower settings, the settings save over to my other machine and I have to change them all each time. If I turn off cloud saving, I have to transfer saves manually each time.

Is there a way to just sync the saves without everything else? It makes no sense to do this.

I think the only way would be to set your CFG files (MyDocs\The Witcher 3\user.settings) on each machine as "read only" once you've set them up, though I don't know how that will affect the cloud.

Got the bad ending even though I tried to remain neutral and do what I thought was the right things to do. Tip if you want the good ending - make Ciri happy with the choices you make, happy memories. And support her and allow her to be independent. Or just whatever, you will probably mess it up anyway. Laughing
You probably did the white knight route too much, wanting to save every damsel in distress Cool Face

Skellige is a disappointment. Looks beautiful, music is great, but the few quests and POIs are pretty shitty (better than most RPGs, still shitty for this one).

Finished it after 109 hours. Found everything, did every side quest and contract. Got all the achievements (apart from combat ones). One thing I didn't do and it pissed me off, since the game never mentions that a certain quest is over. Djikstra spoilers below:

The game autosaves and uses checkpoints regularly although if you weren't aware of the quest at all and it doesn't pop-up as failed (Happened a few times during the game even for quests I had no idea about but it sometimes doesn't notify you at all.) then I guess it's easy to miss, got fucked (ploughed is it?) out of a quest myself since the game said this thing about the game being reverted to a pre-last act state upon completion but since dead is still dead there's a couple of quests I can never do.

 Spoiler:

But it's not too bad besides that, be careful with your choices or you might regret them later though displaying a "quest failed" or similar wouldn't be bad either although I guess it would go against CD Projects design where they want you to only know the outcome of major events later on to avoid just loading a save and trying something different whereas now that autosave or checkpoint could be several hours back.

Yeah the narration of some of the quest chains do sometimes end abruptly only to resume later, "Novigrad: Closed City" almost failed due to that when I rode past a guy in need of aid who got slaughter and the quest failed and then much later I find another NPC requiring aid and suddenly the quest is active again and I can complete it.

And in your case the same goes for follow-up quests to earlier completed ones becoming available only in a later "act" of the game with no real notification, hell you don't even know which act you are currently in most of the time or when one ends and another begins unless you specifically look it up or try to match it to certain major events.
(Hey Geralt remember this important quest chain you started? Well Dijkstra finally got his fat ass out of the bathhouse and is ready to resume work now if you would be so kind as to talk to him in a non-lethal manner! Razz )
 Spoiler:

(Some quests do show a little epilogue movie to what happened but other things you just have to stumble upon yourself as characters disappear forever after completed quests - or at times re-appear far later - or things get moved around.)

There's a couple of quests with certain NPC's you can miss as well as the game at the time might force you to only ask about conditions for a current main quest, Triss and the statuettes for example though you are given a chance to complete them later if you miss them initially though at times it's a very limited window of opportunity before the chance is lost forever, probably designed that way to give replayability for things you might accidentally overlook the first time through the game.
(No idea how many quests I might have missed myself because this or that NPC decided to go away at this point in the story or after that particular side quest chain completed but I'll get them in playthrough 2 when next I have the time required for some 100+ hours to get through it all again heh.)

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently it's indeed the same from the DLC.

@sabin I'm not completeley sure but I think you get the key from a body, can't remember if a fallen foe or just a dead soldier.

Huh I have no side quests left and I think I've been everywhere but I never encountered a cave of dreams, interesting.

EDIT: Oh so that's why, Blueberry boy and later on his dad died ages ago so it's the one quest in Skellige I'll never encounter in this current playthrough.

sigh.. 1.06 has broken the game for me. 1.05 the game felt smooth... now with 1.06 everything feels kinda jerky, like im playing at 30fps, even though i can see im running at over 60... its very unpleasant.

I believe you can't open it, even on the minimap it shows up as stone. Usually when you enter parts inside caves, you can see the empty space in the minimap i can't really explain it but you probably know what i mean.

Have you checked the Prima Guide for this particular quest? I don't have access right now but as soon as I get home I'll check it out.
