The ending of the Gwent tournament is total bullshit if you choose not to...
Spoiler: | help Sasha look for the gold. You don't even get the option to look for it yourself. What a load of crap. |

Is there a way to just sync the saves without everything else? It makes no sense to do this. |
I think the only way would be to set your CFG files (MyDocs\The Witcher 3\user.settings) on each machine as "read only" once you've set them up, though I don't know how that will affect the cloud.

Skellige is a disappointment. Looks beautiful, music is great, but the few quests and POIs are pretty shitty (better than most RPGs, still shitty for this one).

Finished it after 109 hours. Found everything, did every side quest and contract. Got all the achievements (apart from combat ones). One thing I didn't do and it pissed me off, since the game never mentions that a certain quest is over. Djikstra spoilers below:
Spoiler: | If you choose "use force" when rescuing the sorceress from Djikstra, apparently it doesn't mean "shove him away" or "punch him". Nooo. It means "punch him, beat him on the ground, and break his other leg". Oh, and by the way? This ends the assassination of Radovid quest, which I wanted to do. Thanks to the game not informing me, in my endgame the North is now ruled by a radical madman who kills all nonhumans, witches, and even people selling herbs and so. What the fuck. :\
Apart from that, I got the good ending, Ciri becomes a Witcher. It would be the perfect ending if you could side with Roche and Ves to make Temeria whole again (which I wanted to do) , but NOPE. Seriously, this specific dialogue option should have been explained in more detail, since NOTHING prepares you for what Geralt does. :\
I would have replayed the part, but my last manual save is 30 or so hours before, so yeah. If NG+, Enhanced Edition or the 2 expansions come out I'll probably give it a proper replay and make sure not to "use force" with Djikstra. |

The game autosaves and uses checkpoints regularly although if you weren't aware of the quest at all and it doesn't pop-up as failed (Happened a few times during the game even for quests I had no idea about but it sometimes doesn't notify you at all.) then I guess it's easy to miss, got fucked (ploughed is it?) out of a quest myself since the game said this thing about the game being reverted to a pre-last act state upon completion but since dead is still dead there's a couple of quests I can never do.
Spoiler: |
Lugos just had to be a idiot and attack Ermion the most powerful druid in Skellige so with him dead the Gwent quest can never be completed - it's not listed as failed either. - and whatever quest he wanted me to perform for him will remain unknown.
(Some evil ass over at CD Project also put one the Wolf Armor DLC quest maps on the blacksmith here so I had to use the debug console to get that stuff. )
|
But it's not too bad besides that, be careful with your choices or you might regret them later though displaying a "quest failed" or similar wouldn't be bad either although I guess it would go against CD Projects design where they want you to only know the outcome of major events later on to avoid just loading a save and trying something different whereas now that autosave or checkpoint could be several hours back.

It still doesn't make sense though. It's as if the game glitched or something.
Spoiler: | I helped Roche, Ves and Djikstra rescue Thaler, they said they'll contact me soon about the assassination. Roche and Ves helped me out at Kaer Morhen and then DISAPPEARED after that. Seriously. Not one mention of them. If they went up to me after 10 hours after beating up Djikstra and said "Geralt, what the fuck did you do, without Djikstra's help we can't make move on Radovid"- then FINE. But there's NOTHING. N-o-t-h-i-n-g. |

I chose to:
Spoiler: |
To not assassinate Radovid. He was insane, a madman, but still, rightful ruler of the north.
Witcher is all about chosing the lesser evil. I decided chosing Nilfgaard over Radovid would be the greater evil. So I chose not to kill Kings - witchers, imho, just don't do that.
So I got the ending, where Ciri becomes a witcher - though I really thought she was dead for a couple of minutes, and actually felt really sad (I just lost my father, so I even cried ).

So I just finished the Witcher's Forge quest in the Kaer Morhen area and I found a chest with...
Spoiler: |
a Mastercrafted Wolven armor. The armor itself, no diagram. It's level 34 (I'm 33) so I can't wear it yet. And it doesn't look like the one in the latest DLC. Anyone know if it's supposed to be the same (it has the same name).
|
EDIT: Nevermind, apparently it's indeed the same from the DLC.
@sabin I'm not completeley sure but I think you get the key from a body, can't remember if a fallen foe or just a dead soldier.

sigh.. 1.06 has broken the game for me. 1.05 the game felt smooth... now with 1.06 everything feels kinda jerky, like im playing at 30fps, even though i can see im running at over 60... its very unpleasant.
