Perhaps (and I mean this entirely without offense, of course) you should try to go out of your comfort zone? I mean, last month there was the Antwerp Convention, and in September there's FACTS convention in Ghent, both mini-comicons, where you can find tons of girls interested in all kinds of crazy scifi/fantasy (and not just the silly Japanese stuff).
I used to think the same as you. But the truth is, there are plenty of girls in Flanders who are like you, you just haven't met them yet

I go to FACTS almost every year but even there you see that the majority is aged 20-25 and I'm 35 this year - not many women my age or slightly younger there.

So? Most people don't go into a relationship thinking beforehand how long it will last. If it lasted 2/5/7/200 years it doesn't really matter. Gf has a right? What? If she tells the guy he can't play games, and he listens to her is his fucking fault. End of story. It always takes two for this shit and i dislike when people make victims out of people who are doing something of their own choosing. Its obvious your friends like being in a relationship with these girls (unless they are being forced/blackmailed some way...) or else they would have left.

you tell her te mind her own shit. You play games, she goes shopping. Then you make some sort of arrangement. You play games when she goes shopping or you dont play 10h a day every day.
To be honest, if you prefer playing games over the girl, you probably arent that much of a couple, right? It aint all rocket science.
I am not a relationship expert, but I have never had issues with bossy girlfriends... They are bossy if you take no decisions or never say no, then they have to become bossy to get something done If I do something wrong, they can yell. But who allows to be yelled at for doing nothing wrong? If you behave like a pussy; you get treated that way.
And about the gaming. I make jigsaw puzzles as a hobby. My ex would ridicule me about it, so would some of my friends. I didnt give a shit. a) You really think your gf would leave you because you play games now and then? nice relationship b) you are actually afraid of being left because of that? There are enough people out there who allow you to do what you want. Everybody has a hobby other people think shit about; who cares?
Anyway, I was having amazing sexy time this night with the lady. I got a message at 1AM from the crazy one 'Home?'. What was she expecting? I am still awake at 1 AM and answer 'yes' and she answers 'i will come fuck you'?

So I just checked, the last message I sent was beginning of May and she didnt even respond to it [except the 'thx' message] ... Why the hell is she starting the converstation again. It's been almost 2 months since I last saw her. Waddafock. [should I start to feel crap because the crazy one is texting me and the other lady doesnt know... ?]

That girl IS hard to figure out - usually I can spot the hook they go for, but in this case, it seems like she's truly confused and kinda emotionally unstable making her unpredictable. Seems she has moods where she is needy, wanting attention but they come and go and when they go, she's completely not in the mood to see anyone but she does like to keep "lines open" just in case  while being afraid to get in too deep.
My brother was being a fool too - met a girl/woman (she's 36 but doesn't act like it - if you closed your eyes, you'd think she was a 20 year old) who, to put it lightly, had a few screws loose. Lives by herself, never had a boyfriend (or job), huge pet lover (yeah, kinda a give away), has Christian posters on her window (another give away) and basically, despite me warning him, he went ahead - stayed over many times and even ended up sleeping with her.
For a start she has ZERO sense of time and is either horrible late (and I mean, half a day late is no exception for her) or just loses track completely. Of the 10 or so times that she was invited to go out to eat, movie, etc. only TWICE did she actually make it and both times she was at least 2 hours late.
Well seems things fizzled between them - brother is being depressed about it but honestly, he dodged a crazy bullet. Someone so unreliable would make a horrible gf.

All my ex gfs were huge pet lovers except the first... who had christian posters it sounds funny but IMO it means nothing a priori.
@spankie Do you think part of you is still a bit interested in the crazy girl? I mean, you haven't blocked/deleted her from your life, you still talk about her here...

I am considering showing up on Friday with the GF We are going to a BBQ party of friends of mine, so she'll be in the neighbourhood anyways. Would be a nice surprise for the nutter... Payback
@Invasor. Am I interested? Yes, she is 'interesting' as "WTF is wrong with you"; I do want to understand what is going on in her mind. Would I like to hump her if I had nobody else? Yes. But the package I have now is way much better. So there is no need to even consider having an 'unhealthy' interest.
I just thought I'd keep you guys updated. The GF knows she is texting me, so there's no need to hard delete her from my life. Actually, she never was in my life, she only fucked me up emotionally once we started having *some* connection. We never had anything, we saw each other 3 times over 2 months ago and we had some hot sex 'one and a half' times.
I cannot remove her from the world. She lives 2 blocks from where I live, she has my email, my phone, my facebook etc. Unless I file a stalking complaint, there is not really a way to completely lock her out of my world.

Yeah; probably.
She sent me some BS messages again like "how are you" and "want to meet". And when I reply "why you want to meet", I get a reply like 3 days later or no reply. Or she did send some pictures of her appartment renovations on FB message, out of the blue. And when I reply with 'nice floor' (floor really was nice), I get like a reply 2 days later. So dunno what the point is. So even pure friend wise this isnt going anywhere.
So I deleted all messages from phone, deleted number, removed her from facebook. Probably in 2 weeks or so I will get a message from an unknown number "hey, you deleted me from FB, want to meet??"
I'd say "this is the end of the nutter topic". But things havent changed by me deleting her number, she still can send me random shizzle. Do those fancy smart phones have a blocking function somehow?

Not that I know of, but you can block her number through your provider. I know Proximus offered it, so my guess is Base and all those others do to.

Smartphones usually have blocking options. On Android it's doable via the contacts app - just add the number to auto-reject list. It works for calls, don't know about messages. Calls appear on the list with a symbol that it was rejected - the phone does not ring or react in any other way and the call is dropped immediately.

Also I just realized one thing about myself. Whenever I see a cute girl I always think that she must be taken. And if it turns out she is not taken then I always question myself why isn't she taken? She must be crazy or something. No wonder I've been single for 5 years
