That's sad, man. We will all end up like that, if we don't kick the bucket first.
Anyway, I have just arrived to the Tower of Brume, and it's a spectacular level, especially those chains between towers you have to walk across. Those who gave up early missed a lot!

Was the durability bug present in the original (PC version only of course) ever fixed?

What do you mean? The bug is the same across all versions that run at 60fps. And it was never fixed.

So they'll only bother fixing it now because it's also present on the derpsole version...

Thank god. Low durability weapons are almost useless with that bug, especially in sotfs with more frequent enemies.

So u can keep retrying and grinding without consequence?
Sure they can remove it, but they must add some sort of punishment for the mindless "You died= restart ftw"
Maybe make bonfires more scarce or something, and to remove the ones right before bosses.

Don't need more punishment than having to run for 5 minutes and easily risking all your saved souls. Reduction in hp was stupid, and too punishing, especially for newcomers and those who's struggling.

Losing souls isn't too much of a problem ins DS2 imo. u could just run past enemies and grab the lost souls then either try and get through the part where u died before.....or use a homeward bone and spend them.
I think bloodborne has an interesting method in that regard, which is that your "souls" were in possession of the enemy that killed u and that u have to defeat him to reclaim your souls.
it didn't apply to bosses though, the souls dont get sucked by bosses.
