lol unfortunately the headset was a birthday present from my Dad. He actually said he didnt realise it was a US import. Im pretty sure I wouldnt have bought a US import.

Nah, Roccat support is even a bigger bitch, just google about them
Got myself the Corsair Vengeance 1500 one after that, but that one is retired too hahah, now rocking with the Sennheiser RS170, would had gone with the 180 or higher, but not enough funds

Well as awesome as the gold headset is, it is known to be a poor build quality and breaks quite frequently.
I just purchased mine about a month ago, and this makes me nervous.... I try to be very careful with it however.

My Sennheiser PC350's are still going strong after about 7 years. Only had to replace the earcushions.
