I'm not seeing any specific files for it, at a guess while I can't mod these games very well myself I assume it could work if a faction unlock mod exists and these Nordic ones were included in that.
(Or just have those three as the only unlocked factions.)
Unless there's some further DLC restrictions preventing something like that from working.
Crack fix only fixes the random crashes during the gameplay. encyclopedia crash is not fixed yet.
however on win 8, it usually works if you wait few seconds before skipping the intro, didn't have much luck in win 7 with this workaround.
using fixed crack (from that place) and setting browser to external in settings and not a single crash yet (it kinda hang a little once when i quit the game, but that's it). Finished prologue and half a grand campaign.
not really - there is still that cpu-lock part of the DRM which P2P groups cant really handl that much without doing exes for various CPUs or importing cpuinfo how 3DM does it => both way are not futureproof
- from scene only RLD managed to properly crack cpu-based protection
The Longbeards Culture Pack brings three new playable factions to Total War™: ATTILA. The Langobards, the Burgundians and the Alamans may be used in Single or Multiplayer Campaign modes and Custom and Multiplayer battles.
After centuries facing the threat of Roman dominance, these three formidable and warlike Germanic kingdoms are ready at last to sweep forth in expansionist campaigns from their tribal homelands. The Western Roman Empire lies to the South, her border territories weak and ripe for the plunder. With their unique blend of new buildings, battlefield units and faction traits, The Longbeards are poised to exploit the chaos of the age.

Game still suffers from incredibly bad friendly unit AI, oh look enemy charged you, your unit wont even turn around to defend itself , few units will fight back but that's it, just lost a battle which I was expected to win, even if outnumbered twice, but hey my units killed 30~ units each, while simple skirmishers from the enemy side got 250 kills... WHAT?
I was far too busy with cavalry and other units to pay attention to my melee units, heck they charged me, should of been simple task for my units to defend from frontal charge.
But as it seems they didnt really fight, each unit should been capable to kill twice its numbers, not 30~.
Same issue was persistent in Rome 2, units not fighting properly, not reacting and so on.
Why are there defensive stances for units, if half of the time it will bug out and wont fight back properly.
Heck in one garrison defence, my general killed half of enemy forces alone and that was bugged probably in multiple ways, shouldnt killed that many, and every so often unit would reset its position by disengaging and trying to group into standing position, loosing good chunk of men in process.. with no input from me.

Skirmishers now deal lots of casualties in Attila which is how it should be. The rest - sounds like you are complaining that you ignored your army and the AI kicked your ass
Well AI kicked my ass by attacking into my troops head on, and fight lasted quite a long time even if they overpowered me with numbers, my superiors troops should had more than 30 kills on average especially since I was fighting t1 and militia
A couple videos I recorded for my GTX 980 SLI @ 1080p / Extreme Preset. In some maps, GPU usage won´t go above 65% and I´m getting 30-35fps. Really shitty performance.
This game checks the folder path the same way Serious Sam 3 does, it also checks the exe used to launch the game and finally it checks if the "SteamApps" steamclient.dll interface has been modified (all Steam emu's does this).
I don't consider having to fuck around with a CPU-based workaround, a custom launcher and an encyclopedia "fix" for hours in hopes of getting the game running at last (and then it crashing every now and then) a proper crack. It's a makeshift workaround at best. Not to mention it gets obsolete/useless as patches start to roll out. And the DLC cannot be unlocked.
I bought my key for like EUR 25 yesterday, and have played about 5 hours without any issues whatsoever. At that price, it was a bargain (DLC included), especially taking into consideration that so far it seems like a great game. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna sink 200+ hours into this iteration as well.
