When someone knows how to get to the roof for the Korek Machete, please let me know as me and a friend coudnt find a way ^^

I was able to get up there solo by standing on the green recycle bin then grabbing a window ledge. That took a few tries of mashing the spacebar. Then the AC unit and from there it was easy grabbing ledges to the top.

Have you checked your graphics card temperatures when playing?

Maybe monitor sleep is caused because of playing with controller. I remember some games cause monitor sleep system to switch on when i play with gamepad.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / MSI Gaming X Slim GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER / ASRock B650 PRO RS / Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 / G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 / Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB / SeaSonic VERTEX GX-850 850W Gold / Lian Li LANCOOL 216

Don't think so, I completed the game with controller and I didn't have any problems.

What's the difference between medium and high textures? High causes lots of stuttering but the game runs smoothly with medium textures.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

The difference is basically in the VRAM usage. With textures on High you're sure to be needing close to 3GB of VRAM, if not more. With textures on Medium it runs perfectly fine with a 2GB VRAM gfx card.

Try to use High Textures on a 2GB VRAM card and it's guaranteed you'll start experiencing lots of stutter and/or freezes.

I'm thinking it might be the distance before they start fading out to lower resolution mip-maps but it might affect general texture detail too.

I've switched back and forth and haven't seen any differences, but I haven't taken screenshots for comparisons.

The game requires you to exit to the menu each time before changing texture settings so it makes quick comparisons kind of tricky.

If there is a difference in visual quality, it's subtle or maybe I'm not looking at the right places. Like said above, I think it may just be more caching?

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure the crashes are nothing to do with the game as they've just started happening when browsing chrome etc. Also just checked event viewer and the crashes are error 41 which I've read is to do with the PSU

My hardware is only about 4 months Sad

Anyone else have problem with random sound stuttering/buzzing?

It happened only during the "cut scenes" from the beginning but now it also happens during the normal gameplay and it pretty much ruin the fun.

Same here, roughly the same playtime and exact story progress Mr. Green As for the guns, did you finish Pact with Rais? I think it's a prerequisite.

 Spoiler:

Was exploring when I found this strange grave dedicated to "Fafik", might mean something but I have no idea what it could be besides perhaps some pet memorial added by one of the developers.
(Fafik Dying Light in Google gave a Youtube channel hit but I didn't check if that was just someone else finding this thing.)

Also climbed up to the top of the bridge, found a safehouse (Which was unexpected.) and even some plans for a type of explosive grenade with a really fitting name. Very Happy
(And one of those little flag collectibles leftover from Assassins Creed, Techland did add a few other collectibles as well like those zombie statues and of course various journals again.)

EDIT: Reached the old town. Very Happy

Really really like this game.

The atmosphere is great and the game play is actually pretty solid.

Possibly the best game I've played in a LONG time.

Nothing has sucked me in this much in a while.

P.S running with everything maxed out with no issues at all, guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

How is the parkour comparing the parkour in mirror's edge? Some say it's more advanced than in ME some say the opposite. So what's good and bad at it?
