Yep, as it was said, LOD differences are pretty big. Same with SSAO. The other dof and lighting stuff not so much.

The specs are preorder only. 
Seriously I am almost (~90%) convinced the game at PS4 level of quality will be really really really easy to run. At higher than PS4 quality settings and especially with the higher LOD, who knows.

Expecting to be bashed, insulted and what not but these latest MP4 files from Konami that shows the difference between PS4 and PC is really minor specially for the gameplay experience.
After all, PS4 can barely have AC Unity run in 900p @ 20 fps, YET it can display such details in MGS 5 in 1080p @ 60fps fine.
So yeah as sabin said, interinactive could just play it on PS4 (I think he even already owns the game).
Do yourself a favor though, if you do plan to play it on PC, use a gamepad, and don't play this game with keyboard + mouse.

This isn't 1989 or even 1995, pretty much every single game experience will be *identical* now, regardless of platform. Even on some mobile devices and their respective versions of "big brother" games. I don't know why you were expecting "gameplay experience" to be different in any way between Xbox 360 or Xbox One, or PS3 or PS4.. and yes, even PS4 and PC. The only differences between respective versions now will be framerate and visual detail and that's if the developers take the time to tailor to each specific platform, rather than going for parity. Very few do that. Most prefer the easy route of "make one SKU, port it to the rest of the platforms verbatim"
So yes, regardless of what console or PC you play on; the *gameplay* experience will be the same. I genuinely don't know why that's even a thing to discuss. We're no longer in the days of XX version being superior and YY version being enormously cut down and streamlined due to ZZ reason.
I have noticed one thing, not necessarily from you but from a great many console fanboys; whenever the PC has the lead in visual quality, the fanboys shout "gameplay matters! not graphics! the gameplay will be the same!!" and whenever a console exclusive has great visuals, the taunts are the same "lololol PC Master Race cannot into THESE kinds of graphics! $400 PS4 vs $4000 PC, trololol "

Dont forget AA and higher res. Well we all play in 1080p but the AA is everything these days! Everything!
So dont play it on PS4 except you are a console dickfanboy. Pc will always be the best by far. Either raw graphics, or fps, or AA.....console is never a comparison never!

I prefer 60fps over visuals, so - in this day and age with shitass console ports - I often turn shit down just so I can play it properly.

But what if the bitchconcoles only have 30fps? What then? And the new displays with 120-144hz will make you feel smooth in the pants if you see it I am sure. You will forget the 60fps and go to the holy 120 mark which will fuck you through. Modern games with 120fps...impossible.
And Assassins Creed is another example once again. Gameplay before graphics....but what if the gameplay never changes and is some boring shit like in that game? Only the better visuals can save you then. Otherwise you gotta puke nonstop!

If I buy a new display it has to be able to do 4k. And good 4k displays are too expensive these days. Isnt playable anyways. 1440p doesnt interest me.
Maybe in 1 or 2 years you can buy a 4k display which can easily handle 1080p and 1440p and 2160p then I am in!

@sabin : but gameplay experience is affected between PS360 and XBONE/PS4 versions : the framerate.
Playing this game at 60fps vs 30fps helps a lot, this is one of these games where the framerate matters a lot. Having played both the PS3 and PS4 versions, I can tell you Snake feels a lot lighter due to better control response thanks to 60fps 
Now, > 60 fps ? I never noticed the difference between 60fps and 120 fps here, except I need to turn on Vsync else I get terrible tearing !

As cyclone rightly said, even the PS4 is running it at 1080p60 .. so if you don't have a 780+ but you do have a PS4, simply play it on there.
