http://segmentnext.com/2014/11/07/lords-fallen-first-dlc-will-expand-campaign-among-additions/
Quote: | Lords of the Fallen was released almost a week ago and if you are enjoying your time with it, then you must be glad to know that the developers are going to release a new DLC for the game called Ancient Labyrinth.
Ancient Labyrinth will tie in directly with the main campaign and will take the players to a new location “The Library”, which will become accessible through one of the locked doors that players would have encountered in the game.
Furthermore, this DLC will include a new puzzle-based mechanic and new magical enemies who will have the ability to change their powers during battles. In addition, Lords of the Fallen will receive new weapons, armors and side quests as well.
Bandai Namco has not revealed how much this DLC will cost or when it will release but the additions coming to the game with it, will certainly pique the interest of the fans.

Some new info about expansion and game's budget
Quote: | Dark Souls-esque role-player Lords of the Fallen will receive its first expansion this winter, co-developer/publisher CI Games has revealed.
The DLC, titled Ancient Labyrinth, will launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and include new puzzle-based gameplay .
Around two-and-a-half hours of new content will be included, Eurogamer Poland adds, set in a giant maze full of skeletons.
Lords of the Fallen has now sold 200,000 copies and shipped a total of 700,000 units to retailers, executive producer Tomasz Gop confirmed to Eurogamer.
The game's budget of 42m Polish zloty (about £7.8m) required CI Games to ship 500,000 copies to make its money back, something it has now done |

Also from https://steamdb.info/app/265300/dlc/ it looks like 4 DLCs are planned

It didn't
Well, supposedly it fixed some crashes but not all of them.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

I think I played for about 7-10 hours and the game only crashed once when I entered a new area. not a big deal.
Ohh the Ancient Labyrinth .... makes sense now why I couldn't open some of the doors in the Ancient Ruins.

Which door?
I am pretty sure I opened every single door in the game although it took until New Game+ before I could access the "garden" area since you can miss that key.

funny how steam drm always gets a free pass, and something like denuvo that apparently isn't even a drm gets so much bad publicity.

In which way it is not a DRM technology:
Quote: | Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a class of technologies[1] that are used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders, and individuals with the intent to control the use of digital content and devices after sale;[1][2][3] there are, however, many competing definitions.[4] With first-generation DRM software, the intent is to control copying; with second-generation DRM, the intent is to control executing, viewing, copying, printing, and altering of works or devices. The term is also sometimes referred to as copy protection, copy prevention, and copy control, although the correctness of apply DRM is in dispute.[5] DRM is a set of access control technologies.[6][7] In 1998, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) was passed in the United States to impose criminal penalties on those who make available technologies whose primary purpose and function are to circumvent content protection technologies.[8] |

@ Interinactive
There seems still some problems with physiX. So deactivate it OR set your driver to process all physiX-calculations on the CPU instead of "automatic" or "gpu".
With this the crashes are gone. If your game still crashes after this "workaround", then your game may be corrupt and it would be wise to reinstall it.

it this DRM , they just used more literal definition and shady words to disconnect themselves from commonly negatively perceived abbreviation - nothing else , even devs said its DRM in their stream .

no amount of free to play multiplayer games with hats will change the fact that steam is just a well put together DRM machine. and actually it proves that if you make content people want and approach them in a friendly manner they will eat that shit up.

steam itself as a swrvice is DRM in the same sense as both XboxLive and PSN is DRM aka protection against borrowing aka tieing games to accounts, as for actual DRM mechanics there is bunch of options on steam -just steamapi integration, steamstub, steam CEG, steam CEGx64 or the hardest steamCEG with cpuid checks

Anyway, I think it's fair game, as long as it doesn't affect legit users. Cracking should be a game of skills, not an almost automated process like it is with standard steam drm, it should be a challenge. This having been said... still waiting to be able to play this sucker for fre... will keep waiting |
What you said means pretty much that its a DRM on a DRM, so still a DRM
About this game of skill, im not that familiar with cracking process etc but if I remember correctly most of the time when some new kind of protection came out it wasnt cracked by those "big and elite" groups but some average users figuring it out using some third party programs etc. Just after some homemade bypasses were invented suddenly those elite groups posted their releases and in some cases they simply copy pasted solutions and called it their own.

Well, depends what you mean by that. Example: StarForce was "circumvented" by common users by various means, for example disconnecting phisical drives and playing with a mounted iso from an emulated drive or by using the "double-disc burn & test switcheroo" method, but in the end it was properly reversed by RLD if I remember correctly.
The latest SecuROM was indeed first circumvented by a user on warez-bb, but again, just because he had access to the SecuROM SDK, which contained tools that made the process very easy for him.
Still, scene or "amateur", it's still what it is: a cat-and-mouse game of skills. It's just that it has been quite some time since drm technology introduce something really new and "hard" to crack, but in the early 2000s it was the norm, every time SecuROM/StarForce/SafeDisc/Tages updated it required some time for groups to crack it. I'm just curious to see how long it will take this time around. StarForce still holds the record on this, I hope Denuvo doesn't break it... because I want to keep playing games for free But as someone that is a programmer (but not a cracker) I still find the process very interesting.
